The Kayano has always been my favorite shoe and the newly updated GEL-Kayano 19 doesn't dissapoint! I am training for the Rock 'n Roll Las Vegas in these shoes and have had no discomfort or pain in my shins, which I genreally get due to my low arches. This shoe provides great cushioning and stability. I also really like the fun new colors!

I've been loyal to the Kayuno line. The 18 wore out rather quickly, but I've been really happy with the 19.

I am in my 50's and have been road running since i was 15. I love Asics and I love the Kayano series. Can never go wrong. The fit is consistent and love the new bright colors ! I always size up 1/2 size and the fit remains consistent.

I had been a fan of the Asics Kayano for the past 5 years, but developed a sharp pain along my lateral tibial tendon that I learned was related to poor arch support, so I switched to the Saucony Hurricane 14s, which worked great. Their 15s had less arch support, so I switched back to the Kayano after reading that they had improved arch support. I am happy to report that this is true! I am back in love with my favorite all-time shoe, the Kayano: Great cushioning and arch support, and lighter than ever. What more could you ask for?

I run between 30-35 miles/week. These shoes are definitely more comfortable than the Kayano 18's. They support my foot perfectly and have great cushioning!

These are horrible shoes and after years of wearing Asics I'm sorry to say their company just keeps making their shoes cheaper and cheaper (and more expensive at the same time).
I am fairly small (5'3, 125 lbs) and training for an Ironman so I need something for heavy mileage. I prefer lightweight and have used the DS Trainers for several years (trained for and ran marathons in them) until a couple models ago when they turned cheap as well (no cushion).
Decided to try the Kayanos because I wanted something with cushion that would hold up to high mileage. Well, not only are these ridiculously heavy they start hurting my arch after about 6 miles, a problem I've never had before. I tried using insoles (also never done) which helps but they're even heavier.
When I realized my brick runs (running right after biking which I do in Tri-specific shoes) were easier than my fresh runs with Kayanos, I realized it was the shoes.
What a waste of money! Good thing I can return them. I don't know what's happening to Asics though- all their shoes are bad and I used to swear by Asics!

I have had two other Asics shoes: Kayano 17, 18 and now 19. For me, an average female runner with 15 to 25 miles a week, they are the perfect shoe. These seem a little wider than the 18's but other than that, the fit and cushioning are great.

Before buying the Gel Kayano 19, I had the Gel Kayano 17 (which I loved). I bought these and I was impressed! I love them more than the 17s! I run about 28 miles a week and my feet feel great. No pain, no soreness. If you're looking for a light weight shoe with stability this is the shoe for you!

I trained and ran a marathon in the 19's and although I felt that the support and weight of the shoe was fine, I felt the toe box for long distance runs was too narrow. I lost several toenails, and I have never had a problem with that before. I have been running for years and decided to change shoes to get more stability. I like the shoe for shorter runs but will go back to my old favs for distance.

I've worn asics kayano for almost 10 years. They get lighter with each model. This is the first time that I noticed there wasn't as much cushion as before. I'm hoping they will improve it with next model.

I am a beginner. I started running to lost weight. I'm 5'4" and 200lbs. I have always enjoyed Asics, these are now my absolute favorite! I am training for a 10K in September and will run in these for sure. A must have!
