These shoes are incredible. I had some sticker shock at first but having the return policy behind me I thought why not lets try them. I went for a 4 mile run immediately after buying them, it was the most comfortable and natural feeling run I have ever had. The shoes worked with me every step, they are so thin yet the comfort and shock absorbance is incredible. Ive never felt anything like this and the price is well worth it. Become a member and get the piece of mind that you can return if they dont work out, but trust me they will.

If you are a bigger runner and you need a comfortable shoe that has the BEST cushioning ever created in a shoe, do yourself a favor and buy these. I have tried many cushioned/neutral shoes from Nike, Brooks, etc.... and nothing matches this Nimbus 15. The closest shoe to this was the Nike Pegasus 28 (But Nike ruined it with Pegasus 29 which is terrible). The only thing that could make this shoe better is if it dropped an ounce or two (but don't worry, it's not that heavy).

I'm 220 lbs and can use the cushioning in these shoes. I like them a lot and I have no complaints. I think these really help on longer runs and helps prevent injuries/pain. I highly recommend.

6'2" 210lbs and 20+ miles a week; have worn Nimbus for many years. Nimbus 13 was perfect; switched to 14s because 15 was a disappointment. Too much cushion, poor heel/forefoot transition, wide toe box. Still looking for 13s online; hope 16s are less cushioned in forefoot, narrower toe box and have ergonomic lacing which was great.

Loved Nimbus 12 and 13.14s were not good.14s were too rigid.Nicknamed the 14s the Slappies for the way you hit the pavement.Eagerly awaited 15s.15s have great cushioning.But ASICS dropped the heel/toe difference.Caused me to have hamstring issues.And like the 14s I was slapping the pavement with the 15s.ASICS makes great shoes.Time to reassess the heel/toe drop diff and rigidity of the Nimbus.

I tried 3 other running shoes before this one and it is, by far, the best fit and confort. I would consider buying a second pair but there is only one color selection for the 10.5 4E. I do not want 2 pair that are the same color.

I have been wearing Nimbus running shoes for the past 8 years. I run about 20 miles a week and replace my shoes with every new edition of these shoes. I was disappointed over the last 2-3 years as it seemed like Asics was loosing its way with cushioning shoes. They are certainly back with the 15s. I love these shoes and are looking forward to putting them on and enjoying the cushioned run. The cushioning is much more pronounced compared to the 14s, throughout the sole and not just the heels. Great job Asics.

Nimbus 15, compared with the 14. 15 has more cushion on heel strike and the ball of your foot. Very stable and breathable. Weight feels the same or a hair lighter. Heel cup seems to allow for a better fit. So, the 15 are the best running shoes I've used to date.

First time I have worn Asics and love the Gel Nimbus 15. I look for lots of cushioning and this shoe has it, yet it is light and not heavy.

I work out everyday either walking or elliptical and airdyne bike and lift some weights on some days. I primarily use this shoe for walking and running some (bad knee). I skipped the nimbus 14 cause of some bad reviews but I could not be happier with these. Feel great!!

If any of you were hoping, as I, that ASICS would return the Nimbus to "12" characteristics, you will be disappointed. I'm 155 lbs, run 30 mi/wk with a long of 9 mi, have a slightly high instep, need 4E, like/need cushion, not too much flex in forefoot and I like a heavier (substantial) shoe, so I feel like I've got one on. The "12" fit my foot like a glove (although I recall that style, initially, caused some leg/knee discomfort), not the "15." It does not cover the top of my foot well which makes it difficult to get a snug tie to keep my heel from slipping but not pull the sides of the shoe too tightly across the wide part of my foot. The heel strike (outer sole) feels reasonably natural and cushy, but forefoot cush is inadequate (or it may be due to flexibility). I couldn't wear the 13, 14 or earlier models (maybe 8, 9) either. I am running in the "15" and probably have over 100 miles in them. If I had another option, I'd buy it; but, I have difficulty finding a suitable shoe that fits, allows my foot to roll forward naturally, is cushy without too much flex (in forefoot) and feels substantial. If I wanted a high flex, light shoe I'd buy a racing flat. I've worn ASICS for probably 30 years, but it is maddening the way they drastically change the character of a model from year to year. Improvements are great, but they should maintain the basic character/style of a model OR rename it.
