I wore the 12's for the short time they were available and loved them just as much the asics kayano 13 and 14 both tore my shins and ankles to bits. I only wore the 14's once and knew there was no improvement from the 13, I got shin splints aft...

Returned a pair of XIII's ---they felt and looked like clown shoes compared to the same sized XI's --I like the tighter mesh weave and smaller toe-box of the XI and I know they are comfortable for long runs as well as stylish for just hanging out.

I used to run once a month if I had to, but now I'm running 3-5 miles everyday and loving every second. It's definitely the shoe- no joke. You won't be disappointed.
