These are nice shorts and might work for some people, but they didn't work out for me. The fabric is just too heavy. I can't imagine wearing them in the summer time. Also, the shorts were too high-waisted for me to wear under most modern shorts and workout pants. Because of the heavy fabric, you could probably get away with running in nothing but these if you wanted to.

When my daugher started playing volleyball as an 11 year old the pressure was on to find underwear that was invisible!
