        Running was not slipping on wet surfaces and carbon soles were great because they wore during running. Took them off in the house to dry for the next day. Walking shoes are different. Don't walk fast, so don't need carbon soles and wear walking shoes in the house on the rug. These don't leave black stains like black sole running shoes!!! Great cushion during walking and casual use. They feel and fit like a glove. ASICS, you did it for walking, like you have in running. Thanks from a long time runner that moved on....

              Do what they say when they say to order a 1/2 size larger. I didn't and I could tell the difference from my last pair from Asics. But, no problem for me. I prefer the fit and kept it. You might not feel the same way.

                  I'm either hard to fit or unusually picky about my shoes. This shoe fits me very well and works well with my orthotic. Great room in the toe box.

                  I used to wear the Brooks Addiction 7 running shoe and loved it. The Addiction 8 was a different cut and did not work for me. This shoe feels more like the Addiction 7, though it's the walker version, not the runner.

                  It often slips on the heel for the first minute or two I have it on. After that, it fits very securely.
