Finally, an athletic run/walk shoe with the Asics quality for people with a disability (I'm unable to tie shoelaces)!! Shoe runs wider than standard running shoe, but this works for me as the shoelaces are usually barely long enough to tie on regular running shoes. I had worn Asics running shoes for high arches for over over 10 years until my disability, and spent the past 2 years trying to find an athletic shoe I can wear. This one piece/2 part velcro closure works better than those with separate 2 piece closures on other shoes. In addition, this shoe has the runnning sole construction (other velcro shoes have a flat sole that are meant for light walking). I would recommend to anyone who needs a specialty shoe due to disability (like me, or due to circulation issues) yet who exercises. It is well cushioned and also accomodates an arch support.
