The ARD Jacket has a convenient multimedia-device breast pocket with an earphones/headphone cord pass-through. Side zip pockets are sufficiently deep. BONUS: For cross-training bicyclists, this jacket features a lower, horizontal, zipped pocket on the back which can accommodate lightweight gloves, gels, power bars, etc.
I'm very pleased that my ARD Jacket has passed the harsh challenges of low temps, gusting winds, sleet, and snow. All things considered, my Asics ARD Jacket is stylish and does exactly what it was designed to do.

I am a 6'0", 200 lb., male runner. I was looking for a running jacket that could stand-up to the rigors of Wisconsin winters. After considering at at least a half-dozen competitors, and becoming somewhat confused by all the choices, I finally purchased a large-sized, "Mazarine/Iron" colored, Asics ARD Jacket for its three outstanding attributes: "waterproof", "windproof", and "breathable."
The color, as shown in the RRS photo, looks a tad on the violet side. In reality, "Mazarine" is a just a bit darker than Dallas Cowboys blue. It looks resplendent with its silver reflective trim on front and back. The outer layer is constructed of a nylon/polyester-like, semi-stretchable material. Its inside liner is a close-knit, mesh material which feels soft against the skin. And the cuff-liner tucks inside the tops of my winter running gloves. Fit was excellent as there is plenty of room for a base-layer and mid-layer.
Note: I just came in from a morning run in 5F (-8F wind chill) weather.
