Good running tights
These are really good tights for running. I'd have to imagine not good for, say cycling or other more involved leg movement exercises. I kept them on for post-run leg exercises (squats, stretching, etc.) and the they tended to stretch out and not stay put.
That being said, they are great to wear for a run. I've wore them down to mid-20s weather and even in the wind, they kept me warm. And they stay in place and don't sag.
My one gripe is the tight fit for me pulling them over my hips. There isn't much give in the waist band, so it's a little snug/awkward until I get them up.
But all in all, I like them and bought three pairs.

Poor fit, bad fabric, abysmal stitching
This is my first pair of running tights. I've worn similar shorts before, and decided to get a pair of long pants for mountain biking during the fall season this year. I do most of my riding in rough conditions on trails that are not made for bicycles. I'm also no pro, and tend to crash a lot. As a result, my clothing takes a lot of abuse from brush, dirt, water, and the like. Therefore, I was looking for a pair of simple, entry-level tights that would keep me warm (warmer than shorts, at least) and provide basic protection from abrasion.
After about a half-dozen rides with these tights, though, I don't have much good to report. My overriding complaint is that the build quality is terrible. Specifically:
1. The stitching rips extremely easily
2. The fabric picks, pulls, and abrades into a fuzz after only minimal use
On the first point, I've already popped stitches around the ankles three times while putting on these tights. After the first time, I've been more careful, yet the problem persists. Worse, while suiting up for a ride this week, I tore a 1" long hole in the outer seam on the left calf while pulling the tights up. I've got 37 years of pants-wearing experience under my belt, and I don't think I'm being too rough with this product. While the Asics flat lock seams are comfortable, they're weak.
My second complaint is that the fit is poor. In particular:
1. The legs are short
2. The rise is long
I'm 6' 2" tall and wear a 34" inseam in most pants. The ankle hems have a grippy material inside - which is great. A consequence, though, is that the short legs tend to yank the tights downward over time (and a very short time, if you're actually moving your legs) as the ankles stay put. The crotch tends to settle somewhere around my mid-thigh, which is, uncomfortable, restricts movement, and tends to snag on my bike seat.
What these pants lack in leg length, they make up for in rise. If I pull them up to the point where the crotch is at a normal height, for example, the waistband is almost up to my ribs. Conversely, with the waistband sitting at a 'normal' height (e.g. where I might wear my jeans), the crotch sinks to the aforementioned mid-thigh location.
I don't think I know anyone with body proportions like this. Even if you're supposed to wear running tights high, the short leg problem pulls them down again. At this point, I'm almost grateful for the poor build quality because it means I'll be able to justify getting a better fitting pair sooner than later when these ones fall apart.
I felt like giving these tights one star but, in fairness, they are marketed as running tights, not cycling tights. So, I gave them two stars in recognition of the fact that I'm using them for an 'off label' application. Maybe they perform better for runners - especially ones with short legs and long torsos.
If Asics made a tall size (which is virtually impossible to find in mens running tights), I could see my way to awarding a third star and chalking the quality up to the low price. Taken together, though, the quality and fit are a no-win combination.
Sleek and fast
I love this tight! I'm 5'11", 170 lbs. and the Medium works great. Form fitting without cutting off circulation or feeling like a girdle. A little long in the legs but I do NOT have to hike up the waist halfway up my chest to obtain the proper fit as with other options. The ankle elastic holds tight while in motion and does not ride up. I am also happy to finally see some color options for men (I bought royal blue)as I am tired of black. They kept me warm at 20^ F, I have not yet tried them at colder temps.
The only 'flaw' was the stitching on the crotch ripped after a few washes. However, it was a quick sew to fix.
I love the overall fit and it is a great price.

ok but not great
First, these are great looking tights. I have the royal blue and the color is exactly as pictured. However, as tights they are somewhat of a disappointment. They do not keep you very warm, good for only mildly cool temps. Nor are they a compression tight. Also, stretchy enough to fit anyone, but inseam is a little short, runs a little high on the ankle. So, succeeds as fashion but not much as athletic equipment.
Wore these about 6 times in weather above 20 degrees. Went to put them on and the seam on the right leg near the calf ripped out about an inch and a half. Of course, its not right on the seam, but just off the seam where its irreparable. RRS says I can return them for exchange even though beyone 30 days---which was awesome on their part. I don't blame RRS, I blame ASICS for making these on the cheap.

Relatively comfortable; have not experienced narrowness at hips described by others. Warm enough down to 25 degrees, not tested below that. However, way too short. Ankle grippers do not work. Am regular 32-inch inseam, 30 waist, ordered small size; bottom edge rides 2 inches above running socks after about 3 miles. This is unlike tights of similar size from Craft or New Balance.
I would buy this product again and again
Fit is perfect.
Ideal for exercise.
Comfortable to wear.

Don't waste your money
The first pair that arrived were 10 inches off what they needed to be to fit my boyfriend. He has 37 waist, these were 27. So I kept them for myself. More like nylons instead of tights.
The second pair were still way too tight on him around the waist. Seemed like they were sized for female instead of male. I sent them back and ordered a different type of tight for him.
East Alton, IL.
Very comfortable, very light weight tight that I like so much better than many of the more expensive tights. It's non-compression and fits snugly and true to my size--6'1",160 lbs--size large. Only complaint minor would be that ankle anchor at bottom of leg is a bit tight and indents skin. Lack of zipper makes for less weight!!!
i suspect these are discontinued........
..... and will miss nylon/lycra tights since the poly blends never have enough flex in the fabric. these are good but already have a few loose threads at the seams (the last pair of same tights were worse and had to return them as defective).
One of Few Colored Tights
I was looking for a highly visible colored tight for cycling but there are very few that aren't black. When I found this one I was put off by some of the negative comments but I finally got it and am very satisfied. It does the job.
Seam in thigh tore the first time I put them on (and no, I do not have massive thighs). Ankles are too tight and inelastic to fit over feet without considerable effort. Spend a few bucks more & get something decent.
Seems to run a bit small
Real nice product, but, just seems to run a bit small. A little tight but still able to wear. I would order Medium, if I had it to do over again. And I always buy Small pants & shorts.
I wear them running in 40's - 50's degree weather. Super comfortable, not too long even though I'm only 5'8". Grips at the bottom prevent riding up but dont bother at all.
Had 2 pairs both ripped in the leg seem. I have been running for 30 years and have had many tights but never as bad as this 2 pair.
Look great ankles are tight
Great comfort and fit except for the ankles...I wear a size 9 running shoe and could barely get my foot through the bottom

I would buy this product again and again
