My first non-Nike running/training shoe

I haven't exercised regularly for almost three years and decided it was time to get back into it. I decided to try a brand other than Nike after price comparing. I ran in these shoes for the first time today, and they were great! Super comfortable right out of the box, with great cushioning as well as support. I'm giving four stars only because I have no idea how they'll hold up over the next several months.

    I'm writing this on behalf of my 11 yr old daughter. she absolutely loves this shoe. Comfort, execution, wearability, and looks. Up to till now she'll only wear Converse high tops. Forced her to try it on. That's all it took. Fit feel style and now she's understanding the reason for true gym, running, and sport shoes. This is a great cross trainer for her, and she now wears them all the time. 2nd pair ordered. She enjoys her sporting activities: "feet don't hurt". A micacle has occured. Thanks Asics.

      I got these shoes today and they fit perfectly! Great support, but not rigid. It has just enough cushion to give a comfortable ride without feeling spongy. I've had plantar facia issues and these shoe keep my arches supported. Enjoyed my first run with them! I run 3-4 times a week & run 5 & 10k events. These shoes will be great for that.
