        Comments about Mens ASICS GEL-Aztec MT Trail Running Shoe:

        These are my first trail running shoe. I'm 195-200 lbs and run 3-5 miles, 3 times each week. I alternate between trails and road. Most of the trails are hilly and leaf covered with frequently water/mud. I've run in these shoes 5 times and so far they've performed very well. Prior to purchasing these shoes I ran trails in Asics Kayanos. I've noticed much better traction and the Aztecs have prevented water from entering the shoe when I cross puddles/or mud! When I first tried them on they felt a bit small (length and width) but after the first run they feel much better. I do like the additional ankle support. One concern is they will probably be hot in the summer as my feet have been hot when running in <30 degee temps this winter. Guess that's the trade-off for keeping water out of the shoe. Thus far I've been very happy and impressed.

              Shoes were great out of the box. No pain while breaking them in and i am in the gym daily. Have not run in them yet but doing the stairs and elliptical these shoes ae extremely comftorable. I use them for my jump training and the landing is soft. Cant beat these shoes for the price.
