I love running in my neighborhood and on backwoods trails in these shoes. They are light, but provide ample support for my ankles on uncertain terrain. They roll nicely with each step and provide great traction to dig in when ascending dirt and gravel hills.

I was looking for a good trail running shoe and the ASICS Kahana 4 was a great choice. The shoe is durable and provides good traction on the trail. It was a goo choice for me and would recommend them to others.

I ordered a 10 and they fit perfect. I have odd shaped feet and can never get a good fit. It takes me hours to find a good fitting shoe. This one fits like a glove. The mesh needs to be more open to allow water out and to provide more breathability. Also, I had to replace the insoles very early on. The top layer rubbed off the foam on my first heavy trail run on the down-hills. But still, I love this shoe and would buy it again. Need more color choices!

This is not my favorite running shoe but I do love the fact that they are so light weight and breathable. These are good, comfortable shoes, and they really come into their own while running in the (HOT) desert.

I picked up the Gel-Kahana 4 in preparation for my first 10k trail run; it's my first time ordering shoes on-line and I wasn't expecting to be as pleased as I turned out to be. The run was very wet and muddy and the shoes held up great. I've used them in some of my regular 4-5 mile runs since and they feel great on the road as well. I followed the "order a 1/2 size bigger" advice and that worked out perfectly. Very happy w/ this purchase.

Hard to find wide shoes for supinators. This shoe is incredibly comfortable, although I have notices a small separation in the seam on one area of mesh after only a couple weeks of use. I will see how they hold up over time, but the comfort is worth it. I have never found a more comfortable shoe than Asics.

All day shoe(stand, walk and run). Good support and cushion, but a little heavy and slight tall for trail running.

It's not often that I fall in love with a shoe right off, usually there is a break in time. But I tried them on just once and the fit on my wide foot was perfect. My first run was a mixed terrain trail and the felt perfect on both rocky and smooth ground. The next day I was running roads so I opted for a road shoe but found myself missing the Kahanas. Next road run I wore the Kahanas and the felt awesome even for the road. Great multi purpose shoe. Even wear them in the gym.

I bought these shoes for walking and trail hiking. So far they have outperformed my other shoes that cost twice as much. I also wear them to work and they make standing on my feet for 8 hours a day on cement a lot more comfortable.

Last year, I got my first pair of Asics Gel Kahana shoes. When it came to replace them, I went with them again and could not be happier! These are the most comfortable shoes to run and walk in I've ever worn - Highly recommended.

This is the only non-NB trail shoe that comes in 4e width...and I love it (I'm not a big NB fan). This shoe does everything just right for a trail shoe without overdoing it or underdoing it. The sole has a super sticky forefoot area and a great tread for trails. I own two pair of these now. Did a two hour run with the last pair right out of the box. Perfect!

Was a big fan of the Cumulus until they change the sole (too bulky and high)and incrased the price$$$$!!!
This shoe will give the support and comfort needed on any distance run. Color options are also good.

I run two days a week, bike and do light cross fit. I am the really tall guy with big feet, to much weight and knee problems. These shoes feel very comfortable, roll easy in a run, and have plenty of cushion. I like them and will be ordering a second pair.

Use mostly for casual walking as a "white gym-shoe" alternative. Excellent fit, extremely comfortable and perfect for the trail or the sidewalk.

I was seeking 4E size trail runner for a while, initially I got other models from Asics, they all didn't fit due to the fact they were regular width (Asics, please make other trail runners in 4E!!) I thought I ran out of option, then RRC told me about this model actually comes in 4E. These are very comfortable, actually more comfortable than my Kayano. The two complaints: doesn't look durable with cheap-ish material. Also the color are ugly, Asics are never "stylish" but these scream "cheap!" or should I say "pick me up at [...] discount secion!" Other than that, these are comfortable and works great in mix terrain, including road and packed trail.
