Comments about Mens ASICS GEL-Reprisal Running Shoe:

Honestly, I bought these for casual wear, not for running. If you're looking for a running shoe, you're better off with the nimbus, kayano, cumulus, etc. These are not it. They, are however, VERY comfortable as casual wear ASICS go. That's saying a lot as casual wear ASICS are usually more comfortable than most other brands' casual wear shoes. The shoes have surprisingly good traction (wore them to a bar, didn't heed the "wet floor" sign, left without a scratch). More than that, they hug the forefoot very nicely--snug, but not at all tight.

I don't want to say the arch support is "poor." There's some, it just isn't great. I have medium-to-low arches, and I function in these fine for hours at a time. But I imagine it wouldn't be as comfortable if I was doing a high-impact activity for an extended period of time.

If you like the way they look, you'll love the way they feel (assuming your feet are anything like mine).
