I loved this shoe. Too bad it is not currently in style. It was comfortable, mess/breathability great; it was very durable!! I loved the orange color.

I love these shoes. Took em right out of the box and ran 5 miles easily w/o any pain or discomfort. No blisters either. I have a pair of 2100's that are great, and use the 1100's for the spongy feeling they provide in the heel strike. I'm flat footed; 5'9" and 165 lbs. and have found these to actual...

Sat, November 19,2005:
I have run on a variety of Saucony and Asics shoes for 12 years and these shoes are the only set that have given me such painful blisters in the heel that I have not been able to wear any kind of shoe with a heel for a few days after a run. This was my first set of 1100s, and I bought them because ...

I've always ran in New Balance and I'm going back. The Gel 1100's slipped off my heel and they just plain sucked!

Good shoe for people w/ low arches. The stability is great. These shoes don't seem to last that long, but for the price you can't beat them.

Switching to this shoe from my old DMX's CURED my runner's knee! They are very comfortable, light, and breathable. I've been running in mine for 6 months/480 miles on hilly roads with tremendous results. Definately the right combination of stability, cushioning, and durability...

A lower priced shoe does not always equate to a "cheaper" shoe. The Asics 1100 is a great running shoe. I'm 6'1'/187 lbs (usually grouped into the "heavier runner" category) and this show has plenty of cushion.

Thu, August 18,2005:
This is a good shoe, but i will agree with megan on the calf part. I even got fitted at a specialty running store and still had calf pain. This shoe felt good though and many high school runners might want to try it because of it's performance at a low cost. mI would recomend trying the 2100 or the ...
