I love this style of short and run in them all the time. This pair was a little bigger that the others for some reason though. All the pairs that I have are mediums but this medium ran large in the waist. Not sure what it was but these were just a little bigger than every other pair that I own.

Have run in these for several years and can honestly say they are the best RUNNING short on the market. No they are not too short, some people don't understand the purpose of the split short. They hold up extremely well for being so lightweight. I have had Nike/Mizuno/Asics shorts, hands down these are the best for the $$$$.

I have tried Nike running shorts and they just dont fit right but these ones from Brooks fit perfect and are quite comfortable for either a training run or a race.

these shorts are perfect...not too short, not too long...just right...and light feeling too...great for racing and training both. plus the solid black color goes w/ any color of race singlet.

Hands down my favorite running short! Perfect fit, true to size, light-weight, and comfortable even on the longest of runs. The only thing that could make these better is a Gu pocket. Other than that, 100% spot on!

I love the high cut and loose fit of these running shorts. I have about six pair and it's all I wear for anything from track workouts to 50-mile ultramarathons. Really lightweight fabric holds up well, minimizes chafing, and I love the old-school white piping. reminds me of my high school CC days!

These shorts have a great retro look and deliver on everything that counts. I wear the shorts for basically every run (~50 mi/wk runner) I take in the summer, spring, and fall (I live in Minnesota). They allow great freedom of movement, they're lightweight, and they don't cause chafing.

They are definitely not for those who are afraid of wearing short shorts, but I've never noticed much of a reaction to them from others and personally think they look good.

I have had this product for a few weeks and so far so good. They are very thin which concerns me a little on the durability but i will find that out in time. Other than that these are GREAT shorts.
