The Green Silence offers a little more cushioning than the T6, but is lighter than the ST4. This is going to be a great marathon shoe for me and I cannot wait to wear them at Boston this year! Comments about Brooks Green Silence Racing Shoe: These shoes fit like a sock and the rubber inlays on the bottom make this shoes grip like a tire. I have never felt a shoe grip as well as this one, let alone a racing flat. The one piece upper fits like a glove and the new lacing system feel like it hold my foot where it belongs. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Brooks Green Silence Racing Shoe: This shoe is sweet! It is eco/environmental friendly and put together well. Brooks is the leader in eco friendly running products. It fits like a glove. It is perhaps the most comfortable running shoe I have ever worn. I did a 10 miler in this shoe and it felt so comfortable and light. It would be nice if Brooks would compliment this shoe with another model that is made for longer distances. Idea: Same upper and bottom ( Maybe a little more durable in critical spots) but beef up the middle so you can do long distance training and even marathons. In addition: include a sockliner that you can custom mold to your feet. Idea: post purchase, remove sock liner and put in microwave, heat for 15 seconds, take out and immediatelly stand on for 2 minutes, sockliner hardens, you now have a custom sockliner molded for your foot. Brilliant shoe.I hope that Brooks keeps heading in this direction.
