The title says it all, these are my favorite shorts of all time. Own a couple pairs of the Sherpa II and now the Sherpa III. Not too long and not too short. Left and right pockets that will each hold up to two gel packs. Reflective detail in several places for those low light conditions.

The only but major flaw of these shorts is a very narrow support. It would be OK for women's apparel but not for men's.

First thing you'll notice is the quality of these shorts, even the drawstring is durable. Through the couple months of ownership, these have held up wonderfully in runs and washes.

Then there's the fit. I'm 6'1" 165 lbs and the Large fits perfect. The 5" inseam is the ideal length for me. I'm not one to wear short splits, but my running shorts also need to be short enough to give wide range of movement and that they're not bouncing up and down. These fit the bill. But I probably wouldn't wear them casually. Only for running or working out.

More colors please!

I was disappointed that the shorts got shorter from the Sherpa 2 to the Sherpa 3. I loved the Sherpa 2's length for other things than just running. I will be looking for another pair of shorts that are a bit longer.

These are great shorts for long and short runs alike. I have comfortably had 4 gels in the pockets, 2 on each side (stayed put well). They are not too short to feel like racing shorts but yet do not restrict like longer shorts do. For my training runs...these are now my go-to shorts.

I like short to medium length shorts with front pockets or back pockets with enough depth to carry 4 gel packs and my ID . It has been nearly impossible to find them anymore. What is the deal? There are lots
Of longer distance people who need this capacity.
These shorts are good but they don't meet the criteria for me.

This has become my favorite pair of running shorts. The only thing even a little wrong is that the sizing is a little large, then again maybe I'm just getting smaller! The pockets are very handy and well placed and the reflective qualities add value to the overall quality of the shorts. Though I haven't had them long, they appear to be well made and durable.

A perfect longer short for any non-professional runner. Multiple pockets are perfect for storing house keys and, of course, the fit, material, and construction are perfect.

I love these shorts so much that I would pay regular price for another pair when I need them. The 2 well-placed, well-sized pockets are the highlight for me.

This was my second purchase of these shorts. I prefer shorts at this length for my daily runs. I live in a very hot and humid climate, and these lightweight shorts do a great job at wicking moisture away. Also, these shorts have two back pockets which velcro shut. The pockets come in very handy for gels. I highly recommend these shorts.
