Comments about Mens Brooks Sherpa III Lined Shorts: I usually rock a split short, but these are my go-to shorts if I'm running with a group of athletes. Splits aren't always "Fun Run" friendly!
Comments about Mens Brooks Sherpa III Lined Shorts: The title says it all, these are my favorite shorts of all time. Own a couple pairs of the Sherpa II and now the Sherpa III. Not too long and not too short. Left and right pockets that will each hold up to two gel packs. Reflective detail in several places for those low light conditions. Pros

Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Mens Brooks Sherpa III Lined Shorts: The only but major flaw of these shorts is a very narrow support. It would be OK for women's apparel but not for men's.

Comments about Mens Brooks Sherpa III Lined Shorts: First thing you'll notice is the quality of these shorts, even the drawstring is durable. Through the couple months of ownership, these have held up wonderfully in runs and washes.
Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Mens Brooks Sherpa III Lined Shorts: I was disappointed that the shorts got shorter from the Sherpa 2 to the Sherpa 3. I loved the Sherpa 2's length for other things than just running. I will be looking for another pair of shorts that are a bit longer.

Comments about Mens Brooks Sherpa III Lined Shorts: These are great shorts for long and short runs alike. I have comfortably had 4 gels in the pockets, 2 on each side (stayed put well). They are not too short to feel like racing shorts but yet do not restrict like longer shorts do. For my training runs...these are now my go-to shorts.

Comments about Mens Brooks Sherpa III Lined Shorts: I like short to medium length shorts with front pockets or back pockets with enough depth to carry 4 gel packs and my ID . It has been nearly impossible to find them anymore. What is the deal? There are lots

Comments about Mens Brooks Sherpa III Lined Shorts: This has become my favorite pair of running shorts. The only thing even a little wrong is that the sizing is a little large, then again maybe I'm just getting smaller! The pockets are very handy and well placed and the reflective qualities add value to the overall quality of the shorts. Though I haven't had them long, they appear to be well made and durable.

Comments about Mens Brooks Sherpa III Lined Shorts: A perfect longer short for any non-professional runner. Multiple pockets are perfect for storing house keys and, of course, the fit, material, and construction are perfect.

Comments about Mens Brooks Sherpa III Lined Shorts: Great trainers. I prefer the shorter shorts, but these are not restrictive at all.

Comments about Mens Brooks Sherpa III Lined Shorts: Great for runs- so far up to 12 miles, no chafing, lightweight. Like the pockets for MP3 and gels.

Comments about Mens Brooks Sherpa III Lined Shorts: Great running shorts. They are light and roomy. I would size down if you don't want them too blousy around the thighs.

Comments about Mens Brooks Sherpa III Lined Shorts: I love these shorts so much that I would pay regular price for another pair when I need them. The 2 well-placed, well-sized pockets are the highlight for me.

Comments about Mens Brooks Sherpa III Lined Shorts: This was my second purchase of these shorts. I prefer shorts at this length for my daily runs. I live in a very hot and humid climate, and these lightweight shorts do a great job at wicking moisture away. Also, these shorts have two back pockets which velcro shut. The pockets come in very handy for gels. I highly recommend these shorts.

Comments about Mens Brooks Sherpa III Lined Shorts: Finally some shorts with two pockets to carry gels for marathon running. I put 2 gels in each pocket and there was no bouncing. They are not too short and the fit is true to size. If the the shorts had just 1 more inch of inseam they would be 5-star worthy but I would still recommend them.

Cons Best Uses
Comments about Mens Brooks Sherpa III Lined Shorts: On long runs, I like to carry some stuff with me (ID, cell phone, cash, keys), so I prefer shorts with pockets. These shorts have small pockets that face rearward from the hip. The velcro closures on the pockets are very secure, to the point of being difficult to open. There's also a zippered rear pocket that I find difficult to reach.
