Comments about Mens Brooks ID Elite Splits Shorts: This is the ID Elite version of Brooks' Infiniti II short. 2.25" inseam, yet it has sufficient "butt coverage" for the less svelte among us. Feels like nothing's there -- very fast. The fabric has a slight texture to it, so it doesn't cling to skin unless it gets completely soaked. Wicks well, and it's showing no signs of wear from repeated use/laundering.

Have been training and racing in them all year, surprised the liner has held up as well as it has and still giving fine support. Surprised at the size of the hip pockets, even though they're hardly noticeable I can fit a powerbar in each for long runs. Additional interior liner pocket for a key, too. Highly recommended.

Comments about Mens Brooks ID Elite Splits Shorts: the ID Elite are the best racing shorts I've owned. They're perfect for sprints up to twenty milers, although I may wear them for the NYC marathon in November. They are best for warm weather, as they are short. the length is very good for racing, the freedom of movement is almost unlimited. the drawcord can get in the way, make sure you untie it from the big knot the factory leaves. these shorts are highly reflective, so if you're running anywhere near automobiles, drivers will spot you from a distance.
