Per brooks chart size xl is for a size 16. I'm 5'4 and size 12. I ordered the xl (per the chart I was a large) and its TIGHT! So be aware my thick ladies! However, the jacket is very cute and I stretched it out some. Luckily I run mostly in the early am and no one can see me in my baby coat!!!!

It is thin and was warm w just a running shirt under it in 35 degrees in the dark. Good pockets and I like the hood.

I love this jacket. I live in the Midwest and run in this jacket when it's 20 degrees and below and stay plenty warm. I like the hood but it doesn't fit well on my head and looks pretty dorky but I like it for the added warmth around my neck. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is that I have a Brooks Essential Jacket that has a little flap over the zipper to protect your neck from rubbing against the zipper. Add that and it would be perfect! I like that it comes down a little farther over your rear end and the arm length is great.

This jacket is great. I live in the Midwest and will run outdoors no matter what. I wear this jacket when it's 25 degrees or lower otherwise I get too warm. I am usually a medium but ordered a large and it fits perfect. If you don't like jackets tight order a size up so you can layer. The only con is I have a Brooks Essential jacket and at the top of the zipper on that jacket it has a little flap that covers the zipper, this jacket does not have that so it rubs your chin. I have no used the hood cause it feels too small, doesn't cover my head but it adds warmth so no complaints. It looks good and feels great, I've got a lot of compliments on it.

I really like this hoodie. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that it does fit a little snug. I have other items from Brooks and they all fit the same way on me. I will say that I appreciate that consistency though, it makes purchasing their brand easier. The quality and style are very nice and the arms are perfectly long. Can't wait to use it more.
