I don't like wearing a jacket while running and this vest gave me a great alternative. It is light weight and breathable with good pockets for holding those essentials. Especially when out for a long run.

This vest is great. I use it for running when its cold. I am able to layer under it and it provides some wind and light rain protection. It also provides some reflectivity as I often run in low light. I recommend it to all my running friends.

I love the functionality of this vest: deep pockets, mandarin collar that doesn't flap in my face, reflective yet also fun design, longer length covers my rear. I wore this vest once at home and again on a relay race. While waiting for my turn to run in the relay the zipper jammed on one pocket. I had to cut the zipper to get to my essentials. This was a huge disappointment as the vest was so new.

I still stand by the product as it has great features. Just beware the pocket zippers.

I purchased this vest for my evening winter runs, with my main concern being visibility. I went with the white in size small.

Overall I am extremely happy with this purchase. I get overheated easily and didn't want a full jacket; the vest takes the edge off the cold and wind without making me too hot. There are plenty of pockets that are relatively easy to access while running for stashing keys, tissues, gloves, or gels. I feel that I am very visible to cars (probably feel a little TOO confident, actually).

Fit wise, it's a tiny bit big on me but that's fine as can layer as much as I want to underneath. As a petite girl it hits me mid to lower hip but I expect most things to fit this way so it's not a big deal to me.

The only negative thing I can say is that I'm not a big fan of the black pattern/design on the lower right quadrant and behind the zipper (you can't see this in the photos) and that the multitude of zippers and pulls make a lot of noise as you are running.

This vest is functional and beautiful. I wear it running, over a t-shirt or long sleeve depending on weather, and it is perfect. It stays in place, is water and wind resistant, reflective, and flattering to boot! I have the aqua/white color and it has black on the inside of the collar instead of white like the picture. I liked this even better because it discourages yellowing from sweat and makeup. I was hesitant to spend this amount of money on a run vest, but fitness is important and Brooks has quality, stylish products.
