I have run for years...and was skeptical to wear a skort. But I decided to bite the bullet and try these. I will NEVER go back to shorts. These are amazing. As a previous poster mentioned, they don't ride up at all. And the pockets are perfect for hold just what I need. Best running item I have ever bought.

I use this skort for trail and road running-usually half-marathons. The best feature of this skort? The shorts do not ride up. The gripper silicon keeps the shorts in place for a comfortable run.

I carefully measured my hips and waist and cross referenced the provided Brooks sizing chart. It suggested a S. (It made sense to me at the time because I do wear a size 6 or 8 in shorts/pants.) I tried on the S and it was not a good fit. The outside skirt fabric did not lay nice and smooth around my hips in the back. I then ordered a M and that fits better in the hips but is loose in the waist. I haven't run in it yet and I hope the waist doesn't chafe because of the loose fit.

The skort feels light and airy and if it doesn't work out for running, at least I've got a cute skort to wear casually.

It's hard to find a skort with a long inseam on the inner short. This one is 4.5" which is fantastic for us thick thigh gals.

This is the best running skirt ever. It's so comfortable & love the A line style. I bought 2. I wear these skirts daily! Look nice with cute shirt & sandals, running shoes, too when u hit the trail or pavement!

Now, I am not a tiny athlete. I wear the size XL. And I love this skort!!! Perfect for warm weather workouts. Stylish, sporty and comfortable all at the same time. It's the perfect length. FYI though, the built in shorts aren't "compression shorts" per the description. There's a sticker on the skort that describes them as boxer briefs which is more accurate. Tacky edge keeps them from riding up but not super tight. Just right and really comfortable! I bought several other brands from other retailers and these are the only ones I'm keeping. Actually, I'm going to buy a few more!

I have switched to this skort (from shorts) in spring and never looked back. It is very comfortable, does not ride up and is versatile. I have 5 Brooks skorts in 4 colors and I also wear it when running errands. It just looks very cute and flattering (at least for my figure). I normally wear size 8-10, so I bought all skorts in Large and they fit great. The longest distance I ran in it is 13 miles so far and no chafing. The grips on shorts stay in place, no need to adjust them. The back pocket is good for a key and/or gel. You can also use a hidden hip pocket for extra gel. I look forward to running my 5th fall marathon in a skort! Also since there are 2 pockets I will not need any kind of belt for gel/gu.

I was a little wary of skorts initially, not knowing how they would fit or move. I finally took the plunge and bought this based on reviews of others and I'm so glad I did. One of the problems for me with shorts is that they tend to ride up a bit on me when I run. I have always been athletic but was a volleyball player so my thighs are a little bigger than most avid runners. I'm 5'11'' about 160 and bought the medium. It fits perfectly. The spandex shorts underneath didn't move at all during my run and my stride was not restricted. The length was also great for my height. I would definitely recommend this skort. I don't think I'll be going back to shorts!

I really like this skort. It's very cute and a nice length (I didn't want it too short). I had no trouble with the legs riding up and I plan to wear it in my next 5K. My only complaint is that I wish it had a drawstring so I could customize the fit.

I've only been running for about 2 years and I'm not blessed with tiny thighs, every other skort I have tried is uncomfortably short and rides up when I run more than 3-4 miles but this one has stood the test so far. It's very breathable and has great little pockets for a house key and if I wanted to bring along some cash or a card or something.

My wife loves these. The liner is comfortable and prevents chafing, with a hidden pocket for a credit card.

I'll buy more colors for her.
