This is my second pair of the PureConnect. I bought this second pair because my first pair were wearing out a little quicker than I had hoped and I did not want to switch shoes right before my next marathon. I have about 230 miles on my first pair, and I can tell I have about 30-60 more miles before they're done (1-2 weeks with the marathon 2 weeks out!) - the treads are wearing thin and a small hole is forming by the Brooks symbol on the left side of my left shoe. I understand that these types of shoes wear through quicker than normal, but as a 5'7" 150 pound runner I thought I would get closer to 350 out of them. I do like the shoe and hope the PureConnect 2 will last longer than the original as it is likely my next purchase.

This is my second pair of minimal shoes. They are surprisingly well cushioned for as light as they are. I'm 5'10" 185# and they provide plenty of cushioning. The way the mid-shoe is constructed feels tight when you put them on but not noticably while running. I find them not as comfortable as Brooks Green Silence but have no real complaints.
