              Well, in an attempt to have some cash I bought the Ravenna 3's (I usually get ghosts)since they had gotten great reviews and I never considered myself to be "fussy". Although the description said "order 1/2 size up" I went with the 8's because that's what all my other Brooks shoes were. So that could have been my bad. They started out okay, but by the end of my runs my feet were so sore I couldn't wait to get out of them! I got blisters on my pinky toes the first time I ran in them. I gave them 5 runs in the hopes they would "break in". It never happened, so I returned them and ordered the Ghost 5's. Lesson learned.

              Service and delivery comments:

              When I called the customer service hotline, the woman I spoke to was very helpful. A little to much on the up-selling, but I guess that's her job and she somehow managed to talk me into buying 2 pairs of shoes- well played ma'am, well played.

              For years I stuck to Adidas Supernovas, but those finally were phased out. After MUCH searching, I landed on the Ravena 3 and am very pleased. They run small, so I am glad I tried on the next half size larger. Many shoes are just too narrow, but these accommodate my feet with a slightly wider toe box. I like the grey color instead of white - keeps them looking good longer. So far, they seem to have good longevity. Can't think of any negatives. I did have a pair of Adidas that captured stones in the treads and these do NOT do that, for which I am grateful!
