    Noticed the Brooks Mach 14 hadn't a review, and I found that very unfortunate. So let me be the first.

    Background, this shoe was highly recommended by a fellow ultra marathoner, who uses both the Mach 13 and 14 in street races of any distance. I've been hunting around for the following shoe properties:

    1) very light weight (6oz under) road flat
    2) minimal design
    3) seamless interior
    4) durable (time will tell on these)

    While I only just received my Mach 14, I must say they're an amazing shoe out of the box. Ran my first 13-14 miles in them yesterday and not one issue - keep in mind my feet are well acclimated for minimal design. These shoes made me feel like I was wearing feathers on my feet, on top of which the lacing/tongue design is very nice - stitched into the shoe - never moving.

    Keep in mind these are very light and very low to the ground, so support wise you don't have much. But if you're a minimal runner and simply need that protective layer under your foot for the road, highly recommend giving these a try. I'm really interested to see how durable these are over time... but I believe these will be my new go-to road flats for some time - I use the New Balance 110 trail shoes (very similar heal-to-toe measurements and weight), but for aggressive trail.
