Love these gloves. Two layer versatility is great when start to get warm, but still want hands covered. These are not for super cold weather; great for > +20 degrees

I love the two layers so I can wear what I need. I found that the outer layer cuts the wind nicely and the reflective trim is a great feature. I think they run small. I am an average sized woman and the small/medium is too tight. I cannot believe I should wear a large/extra large glove.

Water resistant, yes (and nicely so while retaining moisture transfer / breathability); waterproof, no. Outstanding glove, though - not too snug and not too loose, medium fits like a medium should. I have mild circulation issues in cold weather so I use these up to mid-30's and they're not too warm. Definitely wish I had these when I ran in ND.

Good 2 layer mittens. Great for bitter cold. The only problem is that they run small. I do not have large hands but still have a hard time getting them on in the L/XL size.

Outershell works well as a wind-breaker. Liner wicks moisture from my hand as it sweats. Nice all around glove, but it is NOT waterproof. Ran 12 miles in rain, and my mitts were soaked on the inside!! I guess the water seeped in through the seams.I
am buying a gore-tex glove that is seam sealed.

I meant to say never did water penetrate these mittens.

Wore these paradox mittens over my polyurethene gloves during a 50k this last weekend and it was snowing with temps down to 9 degrees. These gloves kept my hands toasty and dry. My gloves were pushing off snow covered rocks going up rock stair cases and next did water penetrate these mittens. I highly recommend them to anyone for cold weather use. Plus the inner liner can come out and you can just use the waterproof shell. These gloves were beyond my expectation and so much cheaper than goretex.
