I'm a retired runner, age 62, now a walker. Am about to buy fourth pair, cannot wear them out. The velcro pair looks like geezer-shoes, but no matter. They stand up to power walking for a long time before being relegated to casual and then gardening after that.

I have very heavy and have bad pronation. I have used inserts for several years with unhappy results. These shoes felt just right from the moment I put them on.

Best single shoe to take traveling; excellent for walking, practical for running; easy to wash after outdoors; looks almost dressy, but not best for Opera/Ballet or Elegant Socials. A must to take traveling.

Bought these to replace some old Clark work shoes. I walk a lot in a day of work but needed something that looks a little more professional than running shoes but more comfortable than work shoes. They are plain and boring looking but that's OK with me. Have only wore them for a week but so far so good. I didn't find them super comfortable out of the box but think they will be great as I break them in. I run 20-25 miles per week and just wanted something easier on my feet and legs after a full day of work. Too early for a final verdict but good so far

I been buying these shoes for my father for years. He swears it feels he's walking on clouds. Not only does it offer the support he needs but loves the brown color that goes with everything on his wardrobe.

After trying all the other brand name shoes,I found these the best because they alleviated my discomforts related to my flat,overpronating feet.They are unique in being cushioned like a running shoe yet made for walking.They are not mesh so they do better in cold or rainy weather.Also they have non slip soles.If you wear insoles,try Dr. Scholls Tricomfort insoles on top of the insole already there.

This shoe was recommended to me by a foot&ankle specialist(an M.D.)as well as by a physical therepist.They were said to be ideal for my flat feet and overpronation.Unlike so many other walking shoes,they have the great cushioning of a running shoe.Since they are not mesh,they give better protection from the rain and cold weather.Also the soles are quite slip resistant

For running I use Defyance and needed dressier shoe for work. The Addiction Walker fits like the Deyance on my flat feet. Required no breaking in. Immediately walking 2-3 miles daily on pavement. Will buy another pair to rotate wear.

Great walking shoe, great for cold weather. The only issues are they gave terrible traction in snowy conditions.

bought the shoes for my picky, picky husband. he's flat-footed, doesn't like to shop for his clothes. he wears the Beast for running, gave the Addiction a try. He wears them everyday. Loves them, best fit and most comfortable walking shoes he has had in a long time (thank God). Even a blind squirrel finds a nut!

I use these for walking along the lake on pavement and they are just great !!! very comfortable and nice looking shoe I have already recommended them to a friend

These shoes are great for walking. I had the New Balance 846's before this and while they were fine, they didn't have the arch support and cushioning that these shoes have. I have no more foot pain while walking for long periods of time.

The only negative is that they are rather ugly. I originally bought the black and while they were super comfy they looked terrible. I exchanged for the brown and I've been happier, though not totally satisfied with the style.
