Comments about Mens Brooks Ghost 3 Running Shoe: This shoe fits and feels like a glove. Very light, springy and responsive. Runs are effortless in these shoes. Feels like a part of your foot. Great cushioning all around. I am coming from the Mizuno Wave Rider 13's which were great and I think these are even better. The Wave Rider 14's just suck compared to these. I tried the Saucony Progrid Ride 3's, Asics Cumulus 13's and these and the Ghost 3's were my favorite. The ride 3's felt stiff and heavy, the asics were good, but maybe a bit heavier than the Ghosts, so I went with these and I could not be happier. I am a 5'9" 150lb male neutral (normal-high arch) runner. 1st Brooks sneaks in about 5 years and these are the best ever.

Comments about Mens Brooks Ghost 3 Running Shoe: Never thought that I would change from my other brand but this shoe surprised me with the cushioning and performance.

Comments about Mens Brooks Ghost 3 Running Shoe: I loved the shoe, but on my runs of 4+ miles, my arches would collapse, and my runner's knee would become aggravated. Maybe it was just the injury that kept me from fully enjoying them, but the tread also wore out in under 2 months, 20 miles a week. They were very light though, and I liked the way my foot rolled on each step.

Comments about Mens Brooks Ghost 3 Running Shoe: I like this shoe because of its light weight and good "road feel". Your feet get good feedback from the road to help you run with your natural stride. Not that I believe a shoe can make you faster but I do seem to run a faster pace whenever I run in this shoe. The shoe is comfortable and looks like a real runner's shoe.

Comments about Mens Brooks Ghost 3 Running Shoe: This shoe is very responsive but very well cushioned at the same time. If you are a heel-striker, the cushioning in the heel will benefit you greatly. The cushioning in the forefoot is very soft but it does not affect the aggressiveness or responsiveness of the shoe. I have been injured in the past because of my supination/underpronation, but this shoe, along with some effort of my own, has helped to correct my footstrike pattern to a neutral footstrike. I run 60-80 miles a week and it's got everything a runner could want :)

Comments about Mens Brooks Ghost 3 Running Shoe: I've been running in this shoe for a few months. I've probably completed 12 runs in them by now, between three and eight miles per run. I also have Zoots, Nike Vomeros, and some Saucony trail shoes. In the past I've run in Asics Cumulus, which is the shoe that I think the Ghost reminds me of the most.

Comments about Mens Brooks Ghost 3 Running Shoe: This shoe is great for lighter runners. This is not a fast shoe as ghost 2 but it can go the distance.
Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Mens Brooks Ghost 3 Running Shoe: This shoe had the perfect cushion, in my opinion, very comfortable, very smooth transition. The cushioning was plush but not too soft, not "marshmellow-y". I have had many Brooks shoes thru the years, however their move to having the "sprung toe" last has made it more & more difficult for me. These shoes had a fairly pronounced sprung toe and that caused problems for me. If you do not have a problem with that, I do recommend these shoes.

Comments about Mens Brooks Ghost 3 Running Shoe: the shoe is a mix between light enough to do fast runs but gives also cushion for longer runs. The shoe also allows to run in the rain. it provides sufficient resistance to slipping. I train up to 6 times a week and like most to wear the Ghost. Only for quieter training I switche to a different model of Brooks: the Defyance

Comments about Mens Brooks Ghost 3 Running Shoe: This shoe has more cushioning than the Ghost 2. It seems to find a sweet spot between being light-weight, but also giving good cushion for longer runs. I alternate this shoe with the Mizuno Wave Rider. The Ghost is not as flexible, and a little heavier, but it does provide me with more cushioning. A person at Brooks described the new Ghost as a cross between the Defyance and the Ghost 2. I think that's a pretty good description. I really like it so far.

Comments about Mens Brooks Ghost 3 Running Shoe: First time in Brooks and I really like them. Great long distance trainer. Not the lightest shoe, but has just the right amount of cushion and road-feel. Definitely get 1/2 size up.

Comments about Mens Brooks Ghost 3 Running Shoe: Ghost3 is a the best shoe for me. I'm a big runner 6'3" 195lbs and I like to run fast, 8:00 pace is crusing speed for me on a long run day. Plenty of cushioning, but not too bouncy and light weight. I run one size up in a 14. Brooks got it right with Ghost3!

Comments about Mens Brooks Ghost 3 Running Shoe: I am a neutral runner, 50+ years old, 165 pounds who does around 20 miles a week. This shoe is my favorite all-around trainer. It delivers a very natural heel to toe motion, with just the right amount of cushioning. More comfortable than Nike, more durable than Mizuno (both of which I like).

Comments about Mens Brooks Ghost 3 Running Shoe: Very, very comfortable shoe for those with a neutral footing. I tend to higher arches so the better than average arch support was perfect. One caution is that they are tricky if it's wet. I slipped on an exposed aggregate driveway - partly I should have known better but partly the shoe sole was NOT useful - tends toward "plastic" feel more than "rubber" feel.

Comments about Mens Brooks Ghost 3 Running Shoe: I really like these shoes, and once I am a bit into my runs they feel pretty good ... but for some reason in the beginning of the runs they just feel a bit weak, as if my foot is not on as firm of a footing as it should be. Overall I would definitely reccommend them. I average about 38 miles a week.

Comments about Mens Brooks Ghost 3 Running Shoe: My favorite shoe in years! Love the ride and the upper is so comfortable. I tried the Defyance 4 and returned them for another pair of Ghost 3s. Great for neutral runners 180lbs and under.
