Comments about Womens Brooks PureGrit Trail Running Shoe: Nice lightweight trail shoes, very comfortable, feels like wearing slippers with just enough shoe to protect from sharp rocks. They seem like they might wear quickly and they could use a more aggressive tread. The trails I run are mostly dry sand and loose rock and the shoes do OK. I imagine they would be perfect on well-packed dirt or large flat rocks and wet surfaces. Still, they're so comfortable I plan on getting another pair.

Comments about Womens Brooks PureGrit Trail Running Shoe: Love this shoe! I do ALOT of trail running when in Baja (8 months a year)these work wonderful. They are light and durable. I also run alot on paved roads, wore these a few times and found them to be very comfortable. I use them alll the time. Cant go wrong with Brooks, period.

Comments about Womens Brooks PureGrit Trail Running Shoe: The shoe arrived as I was heading out for a long trail run. Tiny hot spot on my toe but otherwise great! Love how well they grip. I trail run only and these are perfect!. Very light but some support is offered for all the rocks and roots I step on. Haven't had them too long so am hoping they hold up.
Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Womens Brooks PureGrit Trail Running Shoe: I wore this shoe instantly as a trail shoe--no adjustment needed. Seems narrow, but I have a wide foot, so all shoes feel narrow. It's been surprisingly comfortable and I plan on wearing them as long as it's in Brook's line!

Comments about Womens Brooks PureGrit Trail Running Shoe: When I first put them on, I thought that the band across the arch was going to be too tight, but gave them a good workout and they adjusted just fine.

Comments about Womens Brooks PureGrit Trail Running Shoe: I like the feel of these shoes for the ROAD. The fit is like a glove on my foot and I don't get blisters at all. I have done 3 runs in these so far...each run about 6 miles on rugged trails with rocks and plenty of tree roots. I would NOT recommend these for very rugged trails such as this. My ankles are so sore and I have never had a problem before despite trail running for years. My hunch is that its related to the flexibility in the sole which I thought would be nice. However, I have landed on small rocks and roots hidden by the leaves and rolled my ankle twice now. Ouch! I'll enjoy these shoes on the road and light trails only and go back to my more stiffer-soled trail runners for rugged terrain.

Comments about Womens Brooks PureGrit Trail Running Shoe: I have worn these a LOT now, having done many training runs, races up to half marathon distances, and a Ragnar Relay in them. They've also become my go-to shoe for softball, and most recently I did an 8-mile hike up a mountain in them on a rocky trail. They have become my favorite running shoe for all surfaces, road and trail alike, because they grip well and are comfortable, yet there's minimal heel to toe drop. Brooks did it right with these!
