    Comments about Mens Brooks Defyance 5 Running Shoe:

    After running for two years and losing some weight I have been looking for a neutral Brooks shoe that was less clunky than the Gylcerine. I also wanted a shoe with a little less cushioning that allowed me to feel the road better. I tried the Ghost 4, but in a "D" width they were too narrow and a "EE" too wide, and the heel to toe tranition felt funny to me; although the cushoning was perfect. After a few runs in the new Defyance 5 I think I have found the shoe I have been after as it fits my foot perfect, has the right amount of cushioning, and has a smooth transition.

      I love this shoe! I tryed the ghost and I just didn't like the feel of it. It just didn't have the support that my feet needs. I also tryed the nimbus and it ran I bit narrow for me.
      This shoe is great for long runs and to race in. I wise more stores would carry this shoes in store. I talked to the brooks rep. He said they might be discounting this shoe from there line.
