Comments about Brooks Racer ST 5 Running Shoe: I am on my 6st pair. That says it all. I use it for competitive race walking as well as some running. I have done distances of 5K to Marathon in these shoes. Very light but also supportive and comfortable.

Comments about Brooks Racer ST 5 Running Shoe: Im 5'7 and 120 lbs. I'm a highly competitive triathlete who loves ALL brands of running shoes. I'm training for the Goody challenge and was looking for the perfect shoe because I pronate. This shoe fit the bill... light weight and very comfortable. I loved them so much I bought 2 pairs. Brooks never let's me down.

Comments about Brooks Racer ST 5 Running Shoe: I've been running in the Brooks Pure Flow series for over 2 years. However, I developed bone spurs in both heals and the drop on my Pure Flow Cadences were causing a lot of post run heel pain. I picked up a pair of the ST5's hoping they would provide similar performance with a bit more heel cushioning. I've run 2 or 3 speed workouts in these babies and think I've found the shoe that will give me what I'm looking for in a minimal performance trainer. I really feel the road when I run in the ST5's and that's not a bad thing! I love the response I get in the forefoot. Brooks has placed the stability behind the mid-post of the shoe which gives pronators like me a bit more stability than the Pure Cadence. I run betw 45-50 miles a week, but only put about 16 miles a week on the ST5's because I rotate 3 different pairs of trainers,so I won't know how durable they are for a few months. Bottom line: this shoe is a great value for runners that want a performance racing shoe with a bit more support than the Pure Flows or Mizuno's.

Comments about Brooks Racer ST 5 Running Shoe: Just ordered my third pair. I run 35-50 miles per week and they are the best shoe I have ever run in. Injury free for two years now and have PRd in every distance since wearing them. I recommend a half size bigger than shoe size as toe box is a bit snug. Other than that very comfortable and light with just the right amount of cusioning.

Comments about Brooks Racer ST 5 Running Shoe: This unisex shoe is probably better for men. As a younger female runner I found that the shoe was very roomy in the forefoot and my foot was moving around a lot. I kept thinking I was going to injure myself when running fast, especially on inclines and trails.

Comments about Brooks Racer ST 5 Running Shoe: I got 4 months out of these shoes, running 3-4 miles everyday. I bought a 2nd pair in time to run a local 5k, put them and ran my best time yet!

Comments about Brooks Racer ST 5 Running Shoe: I have flat feet and I'm a heavy female runner. I've always gone with recommended shoes that control for foot rolling due to being flat-footed. Yet, I found that many of those previous shoes resulted in plantars fasciitis pain in my left foot. So I thought I'd give these a try. Oh my, they are perfect! While there's not a lot of cushioning, I don't find any foot pain even after running 7 or 8 miles. I'm about to buy a second pair.

Comments about Brooks Racer ST 5 Running Shoe: I run on the inside track at the gym and the treadmill..I have had 4 foot surgeries in the past year. I always wore Brooks Adrenaline since my surgery, but wanted a light shoe. This has enough support yet light enough so you do not feel weighted down. I use a light orthotic and these work perfect! I also have a wide food, since these are a unisex shoe the width is just right. I will purchase these again! :) Service and delivery comments: I love RoadRunner they always deliver quickly, I have never had any problems! Thank you RoadRunner!

Comments about Brooks Racer ST 5 Running Shoe: I average 15-20 miles per week with a focus on 5k distance. I normally run in Asics 2170 and Brooks Adrenalines but wanted a lighter shoe. This shoe fits perfectly and has good support. So far no soreness in my feet or joints following runs. I've been running for about 17 years and after switching to these I'm running my best times. I haven't put too many miles on them yet so I can't comment on durability, but I'll be ordering another pair. I hope Brooks doesn't change these.

Comments about Brooks Racer ST 5 Running Shoe: I was looking to replace the endangered launch and this shoe was perfect. It's the lightest shoe I've ever had. I run about 15 miles a week and will be a repeat customer.

Comments about Brooks Racer ST 5 Running Shoe: With the Launch discontinued, I had to find a replacement for marathons and long runs over 15 miles. Tried the Pure-whatevers, but the low heel drop kept killing my achilles. I can use a little pronation control (I also run in Asics DS Trainers and Nike Zoom Elite) but it has to be light and fast. These feel like a firm Brooks Launch. I loved the Launch and I love these. It took about a month to get use to the firmer mid-sole, but it softens up slightly (not much) with use. These are softer than the Mizuno Elixir, but feel very similar. Personally I like the ribbon laces becuase they even out the pressure and have not untied on me. The only down side is that I have slipped in them a few times on wet surfaces. I am sticking with these (Brooks please don't discontinue these).
