I run cross country and track and field. When it comes to shoes, they can make an easy 7 miles fantastic, or complete living hell. With a good pair of socks these shoes were great, they are incredibly lightweight (Compared to Asics and Ravenna 2). Now they are not incredibly waterproof, but they are still breathable! They are totally an excellent choice for Brooks fans!

Ran over 7 miles out of the box. I was running in Mizuno Inspire 8s which were digging into the right side of my heel. I returned the Mizunos and bought the Ravenna 3s. They felt softer than the Mizunos but are also very light.

I wanted a Brooks stability shoe. I prefer Brooks brand because they make only running shoes, and they've been doing it for over 30 years.

Bought these for my son prior to cross country season. His foot is so flat you cannot insert a sheet of paper underneath it when he is standing. The arch and support for his foot were perfect and got him through the entire cross country season without injury or pain in his shin and arch. This is the third pair of these he has worn in the past three years.

Sitting beside my shoes on the couch. We are great friends already. I will be wearing my shoes for the first time tomorrow. We can't wait to go for a walk together. If these shoes wear as good as they look, I know we will be the best of friends! I'm looking forward to trying out my first pair of Brooks!

I was a Ravenna 2 fan. When I saw the changes Brooks made in the Ravenna 3, I thought they were nuts. Higher? Really? I thought the trend was lower, lighter, more minimal? I liked the Ravenna 2 because it felt fast and light. You are adding material to this shoe? Really? I vowed to never buy this shoe when I saw the Runners' World preview. But guess what - I love this shoe. It still feels light and fast, but it adds more cushioning in the forefoot. This was something I never noticed was bad in the Ravenna 2, until I ran in the Ravenna 3. Also, the wider toe box is definitely an improvement for me. Again, not a huge change, but a good one. Bottom line, I hated the look of this shoe when I first saw it, but it actually performs better than its predecessor for me. Give it a shot!

I run 6-8 miles per week. These shoes surprised me on how cushioning they were. They provide a little stability, but not as much as a true stability shoe. The price was good.
