Comments about Womens Brooks Ravenna 3 Running Shoe: I run an average of 15-25 miles per week and have had serious pain with my knees after each run. I finally went out and bought a new pair of shoes...the Ravenna 3's, and I cannot say how amazing they are. I feel like I'm floating along the road. The ride is that smooth. And the best part is no more achy knees. I can't wait to take these puppies out on a 10 miler. Going to buy an extra pair!

Best Uses Comments about Womens Brooks Ravenna 3 Running Shoe: Worst shoes ever! They're very comfortable when you put them on with the regular insoles, but I use the Road Runner orthotics. I run an average of 25-30 miles per week. I tried these out yesterday on a 6 mile run (I can do 8-10 easily). I had to stop at mile 5 because it seemed as if all the energy had been drained from my legs. It felt like there was zero support in the shoe...My foot just felt "flat". To make matters WORSE, I woke up with sore feet, sore legs & shin splints! I've had good luck with Brooks before, but I don't know if I'll try them again. These are cute shoes (I got the black) if you don't work out & just want to wear them to pick up the kids. They're also breathable...I got a breeze on my toes while running. I threw them in the box & returned them to the store already.

Comments about Womens Brooks Ravenna 3 Running Shoe: I think I may need more stability as the Adrenaline offers, but I really love the cushion in these shoes. I have run in them 3 times: 8, 6, and 6.5 miles and am alternating with my Adrenalines until I get more used to the extra cushion.

Comments about Womens Brooks Ravenna 3 Running Shoe: I have been plagued by running injuries for the past 5-6 years, ranging from severe shin splints leading to stress fracture, to posterior tibial tendonitis, achilles tendonitis and calf strain. Thanks to these shoes I am now out of my heavy duty prescription orthotics and the NEED to wear full compression socks when running, and now wear only custom RRS insoles with compression gear pre/post run only. I have slowly become injury free and I owe it all (well, plus a LOT of patience!) to the Brooks Ravenna 3. I have been through at least a dozen different shoes, and the Ravenna 3 provides the perfect combination of support and cushion--not too rigid or too soft--while letting your legs and feet just do their thing. I look forward to the Ravenna 4, but I plan to buy a few more pairs of this model just in case.

Comments about Womens Brooks Ravenna 3 Running Shoe: I love the Brooks Launch but I felt like I needed more stability on my longer runs. I have a high arch foot and a very mild pronation who trains for half and full marathons. The Ravenna 3 has a roomy toe box, with just enough arch and stabilty. The best thing is that they are responsive and have just enough heel cushion. They are not too cushioning and squishy.

Comments about Womens Brooks Ravenna 3 Running Shoe: I like to have a few different shoes to rotate through my training and this is my favorite. I actually like it better than the Ravenna 2 because of the roomier toebox. This shoe was good to go right out of the box for me, I use it for everything from intervals to long runs in my half/full marathon training. I would consider wearing this in a marathon because even though it's not as light as some other shoes, it has a nice fast feel and keeps my legs feeling good.

Comments about Womens Brooks Ravenna 3 Running Shoe: I run an average of 30-35 mpw and this shoe really met my training needs. I loved my first pair so much, I literally wore them out. They only survived for around 300 miles for me. I just bought my second pair and took them straight out of the box for a ten mile run. They left my feet feeling awesome!

Comments about Womens Brooks Ravenna 3 Running Shoe: This is my 4th pair of Ravennas. I have run in the original (2 pairs), and then the Ravenna 2. So, I was pretty loyal and enthusiastic about the Ravennas - I ran two marathons in the Ravenna 2.

Comments about Womens Brooks Ravenna 3 Running Shoe: I was running with my 2nd pair in 3 months of Nike Zoom Structure, while training for my first race - a half marathon. I ended up with tendonitis and various foot problems which landed me at the foot doc. I nursed injuries on both feet which were wrapped, and continue my training.

Comments about Womens Brooks Ravenna 3 Running Shoe: I have had multiple pairs of the Ravenna 2's. I am about to run a marathon in a couple of weeks and thought the 3's would be the same shoe. After months of training and no problems I have developed the worst anterior shin pain after only running a couple of runs in the 3's. Very disappointed.

Comments about Womens Brooks Ravenna 3 Running Shoe: I wanted a lighter shoe than my Asics Kayanos and Brooks Adrenalines, but I needed stability. The Ravenna 3 is the perfect choice. I took them out of the box on a 5 miler, then on a 16 miler (cautiously) a few days later. They were great even on the long run right out of the box. No blisters, nice wide toe box, stable, cushioned, but not TOO cushioned. Good energy return. They feel like so much less shoe than the heavy Adrenalines and Kayanos. RRS price is good, too!

Comments about Womens Brooks Ravenna 3 Running Shoe: First of all, I am not a runner, but I am a 53yr. old nurse and am "running" all day at my job. I buy a half size up as recommended. These are, hands down, the best shoes for my job-- my backaches immediately go away, my legs feel energized and stronger. These are my fourth pair of Ravenna's and I will keep buying them long after I retire, they are that good!

Comments about Womens Brooks Ravenna 3 Running Shoe: I loved the first Ravenna, got used to the second, and now dislike the 3rd. I had to send them back after giving them a good try. The toe box is too wide, and I felt sloppy running in them. I have a narrower foot so this width doesn't work. Now I will have to scrounge to find the Ravenna 2's until Brooks comes out with the next update to try!!!

Comments about Womens Brooks Ravenna 3 Running Shoe: I had the Ravenna 2 and was thinking about switching to a different shoe because I liked them, but didn't love them. I love the 3s. I don't know how much lighter they actually are, but they feel a lot lighter, but still with the same support. Just a more comfortable shoe overall.
