Ten year Asics wearer, introduced to this shoe earlier in the year after issues with newer Kayanos. Average 30 to 40 miles a week...great shoe out the gate, little break in needed and buying a second pair. I used to wear script orthotics and just switched to newer, lighter version...both styles fit in shoe comfortably.

I actually have two pairs that I switch between. Formerly I ran in Ascics Kayanos and even tried Saucony Hurricanes. These are by far the best I've found for my knees. I can run 6-7 miles in the morning and still be able to walk the rest of the day without pain or stiffness! These shoes helped get a 54 yr old, 200 pounder excited about running again after significant weight gain and injuries.

I would trade my mother for another pair of these shoes! Just ran my first 13.1 (never ran more than 10 miles prior) and felt unbelievable!! My feet and lower legs had no pain or soreness. I'm never going away from Brooks and the Trance are truly the Best Shoes Ever!!

I'm 180 lb, 6-0, and run 15 to 20 miles per week, now running in Asics Gel-Kayano 19s. Tried Brooks Trance 11 to get more cushion. Cushioning was almost non-existent for me in the Trance. The shoes look great, and fit is good, but cushioning a fraction of that in the lighter Kayano 19. Back to the Kayano. Road Runner shipping on time, no problem.

I have bought the last two versions of the Trance, but this will be the last one. My last two pairs that have over 500 miles on them, have more cushioning that the brand new Trance 11--Brooks has down-graded one of their best shoes--its pitiful--I feel like I am running with bricks under my feet, as in, zero cushioning. I will not buy the Trance 12 until I have tried them on and know that they have replaced the cushioning that was taken out of the Trance 11.

just purchase these shoes yesterday, out of the box i put 13.1 mile on them. the ride was awesome. very comfortable and sturdy. beat my best time by ten minutes. not joint problems. was planning to run 12 miles but with these shoes why not a half marathon. only had them for 24hrs ,but i am very satisfied with the results so far. i've run in other stability shoes including asics kayano 16 and brook gts series. think this will be my new trainer.

The 9s worked better for me then the 11s. The 11s had a higher arch that caused me problems in my right foot. My left foot pronates a little and I did not have as much of a problem.

I was a avid Gel Kayano user and after running Brooks trance 11 they are the best smooth very comfortable shoe, would like them to be maybe a ounce lighter but they are a WINNER!

I enjoyed the Trance 10's so ordered the 11's thinking that they would be an improvement on the 10's. Not for me. The tongue is sloppy even with the lace keeper, I'm heavy on the heels and the 11's felt broke down to me on the first wearing, not anywhere near the heel cushioning that the 10's had. They're going back on exchange for something different. I've been a Brooks guy since the Beasts came out years ago, but time to try something else in a stability now. I'll be back to Brooks at some point but not with the 11's.
