Comments about Womens Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12 Running Shoe: Ran with shoe for about six 4 - 6 mile training runs. Ran into issue with shoe brusing the outside 5th metatarsal bone. I've ran in Asics 2100 series for years and never experienced issue. After 8 weeks in the Brooks running 4x / week I don't know if I will be able to keep using them. Anyone have similar issues?

Comments about Womens Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12 Running Shoe: I've been running in the Brooks GTS adrenaline since at least the adrenaline 7. I've tried many other shoes and always return to the GTS adrenaline but sadly feel with each "upgrade" in number, quality is inversely affected. I've been wearing 8.5's in these for the last 10 years and the 12 is the first version where I feel it's clunkier and more bulky. Goint to return for at least 1/2 size smaller. C'mon Brooks. If the 13 ends up worse than the 12, I'm switching brands for good.

Comments about Womens Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12 Running Shoe: I really liked version 10...bought 4 pairs. Tried 11 but they were not stable enough for me. Glad I tried 12, the stability I need is there. I have ankle problems if I don't have enough mid-foot stability. Very happy! :)

Comments about Womens Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12 Running Shoe: I've been wearing Brooks for several years now. I have a very narrow foot and can only fit into select brands. I like Nike but Brooks has become my new favorite. I wore the Adrenaline 11 before I got the 12's. I tried on the 13's and they feel consistent with the 11 and 12's, I just wanted to stick with what I already knew worked for me.

Comments about Womens Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12 Running Shoe: GTS 12 is a great shoe - it's the only one I buy. I did move up to the GTS 13 but the mesh is not made as well and my toe came thru - not happy about that. Would like to see a more flashy color choice!!

Best Uses Comments about Womens Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12 Running Shoe: I am on RoadRunner tonight looking for a new pair of shoes because my feet hurt so much! I have been an avid runner for 25 years and found Brooks GTS years ago. I got my new pair in the fall, the 12, and my feet have hurt ever since. I developed planter facititus and my feet ache. The foot beds have no cushioning and my feet just plain ole' hurt after short or long runs. They are terrible and I am so glad that I am not alone in my assessment because that would just make me feel OLD and creaky. I hope that this helps anyone buying these shoes. I depend on the reviews when I am choosing my next shoe.

Comments about Womens Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12 Running Shoe: I Love the shoe. It's rare to find an extra wide shoe that's comfortable. The only negative for me is the insole is too rounded up on the edges. I just replace them with another work-out insole and am good. Great shoe. I do wish you had these in 7-2E in more than 1 color. It does get a bit boring.........

Comments about Womens Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12 Running Shoe: These fit my orthotics and do okay when I'm on my treadmill, and they're sturdy, but they feel big and clunky even though they're my size. I loved the Adrenaline 10s and miss the good fit, the cushioning especially with running on harder surfaces that are so rough on my feet and legs, and the strong feeling of support I got with those. In retrospect, I wish I'd gone with a different shoe instead of trying to stay loyal.

Comments about Womens Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12 Running Shoe: I have the same issues as many of the others. I am experiencing pain on the top of my foot. I have the laces as loose as I dare, and it still feels uncomfortable along the top of my foot. I really liked the GTS 11, and was very disappointed in this shoe. I'll wear for my shorter runs, but not for long distances.

Best Uses Comments about Womens Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12 Running Shoe: I have been a Brooks Believer since 1995. I have worn the Adrenaline line since their inception and have had no issues, no major injuries and nothing but love for my favorite shoe. I run a lot, so go through a pair every other month, so this is quite an investment. Something changed in this line about March 2011. Since then, I have had major issues; the plastic rubbing through the heel of the shoe, the tongue of the shoe moving around so much I am sore on the top of my foot, planter facititus, knee problems, hamstring problems....the list goes on and on! I am looking at getting fitted for another shoe and this breaks my heart. I spoke with a Brooks rep who mentioned their change to a 'DNA gel' that was supposed to 'conform to the runner's gait, step and strike. I see many comments here with people mentioning their sore feet, so I know I'm not alone...Brooks...please, ditch this 'DNA gel' and go back to the stability shoe of old!!!

Best Uses Comments about Womens Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12 Running Shoe: I have run in Brooks for years, particularly the Adrenaline. I have always been generally pleased with this shoe until I got the Adrenaline 12. I have run in these shoes for a couple of months now, and I can honestly say I hate them. The "support" section of the midsole has been expanded, and it is very hard. I wore them for a half marathon, and my knees ached for days afterward. This has never happened in any other shoe. They have almost turned this shoe into a motion control model. I switched to the Ravenna. It is has a slightly less aggressive, but still quite supportive "support" midsole.

Best Uses Comments about Womens Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12 Running Shoe: I loved the GTS11 and was disappointed it was no longer available when I had to buy a replacement pair. I was sure the 12's would be as good as, or better, than the 11's. Wrong! I have worn them for four or five runs now, and each time it feels as though I have run barefoot -- the bottoms of my feet are very sore. The shoes are stiff up front and feel like they have zero cushioning. I do not like them at all and wish Brooks would have left a great product alone. I ran 12 miles in them yesterday; even though the shoe part felt broken in, my feet were killing me the rest of the day. I never, ever had this problem with the 11s. I have been switching back and forth and even though my 11's have a lot of miles, my feet don't hurt a bit after my runs. I think my 12s are headed to the trash can.

Comments about Womens Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12 Running Shoe: After reading other reviews I was a bit nervous about moving on from the 11th edition to the 12th. I wear a 10 wide in the 11's and did not find that in the 12's. I got a 10.5 B instead. I am 5'9 and a bigger build. I run about 25 miles a week. I found that my other brand often gives me hot spots around the 5 mile mark. My 11's never did...my feet fell in love with them. I took my 12's out of the mailbox this morning I did six miles....wow! I was expecting to have horrible results from reading reviews. My feet again felt great and perfectly in place....roomy yet not too roomy. Good support...cusiony...and over all as great as my now retired 11's. Thanks Brooks for making my shoe!

Comments about Womens Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12 Running Shoe: I bought these after wearing the Asics 2000 line for a year. The Asic's Toe Box was actually too narrow for my feet and even after trying on bigger sizes, they just squeezed/rubbed my feet in the wrong places. So, I began looking for a shoe with similar cushioning/stability to the 2000s but offered a better fit for my foot, and these shoes definitely were it! I could see why these shoes may not be a great fit for everyone's feet, but I love them! I think I've logged about 200 miles on them so far (I run about 30 miles a week)and they seem to be holding up great so far.

Comments about Womens Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12 Running Shoe: I switched to the Brooks Adreline several years ago after being a fan of the Asics 2000 series. Originally a great fit and feel right out of the box, but I"ve had my Adreline 12's less than 3 months and it feels like I've run in them for 6 months! The outsole of the forefoot is wearing and they feel like my worn out pair. The cushioning in the forefoot isn't as good as in previous models. Maybe I got a "dud" pair. Considering sending them back (VIP member) and getting Asics 2170 instead.

Comments about Womens Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12 Running Shoe: I was looking forward to the updates from the GTS11. The tongue securement is the best update (all the Brooks have a tendency towards slippage). The sizing is way off. The shoe feels super clunky, and the uppers don't wrap securely around around my foot. Even with swelling at the end of long runs, the uppers still feel tented at the sides. Wish I could have the 11s back

Comments about Womens Brooks Adrenaline GTS 12 Running Shoe: The GTS 11 was a great shoe that had good mid foot support, a snug fit yet comfortable toe box, and was good for long runs. With limited choices in the narrow running shoe category, it was a great find. I made the mistake of assuming the new 12 version would be similar. It is not. The shoe is wider through the mid foot section and the upper contains more material which creates a loose, sloppy feel, and adds to over pronation. And the shoe feels bulkier and heavier than the 11 making it tiresome on the longer distance runs. The material is of good quality however, and has held up to wear and elements better than other brands.
