I originally wore Asics Nimbus in 2008/2009, then in 2010/2011 I wore Nike Vomero 5? The asics i purchased without knowing my shoe type so they felt snug in the toe box. The vomero 5 came in a 4e and that was a tad too wide, but felt okay. I finally got fitted and was told I am a Neutrral plus and tried this along with the Asics 1080v2, brooks ghost, and 2 sauconies. I have wide feet my left foot is a 10.5, my right foot is a 10, so i opted for teh 10.5 2E and they fit much more snug yet not tight than the other shoes mentioned. The ghost was going to be my choice but felt it was a bit too "lightweight' for my body type, the traction on the glycerin is very nice and it makes me feel like "something is supporting me" without being too heavy. I use it for gym, tredmil, cushioned track (at a local college) as well as pavement.

I had to wait about 2 weeks for my 2E to ship, but thats because i ordred it before it was released. the regular width was available at the time i tried them on in end of june.

So far very pleased. i tie my shoes in a runners knot and it has the right amount of tension without any hot spots.

i Had the Nimbus 14 and i felt that they were very tight in the toe box. My podiatrist who also runs suggested that I try the Glycerin. I feel that they are very responsive and have enough cushoning. i battle hamstring issues and so far so good. i run 4 days per week about 30 miles. I wish that they would add a third color.

I was able to get an early pair of these and am closing on 350 miles in them including a marathon. Great great shoe (Yes I said that twice on purpose).

I had problems with the Glycerin 9's not having adequate cushioning in the forefoot. This has been solved in the Glycerin 10's. I started running in these with soreness at the head of my second toe (under the ball of my foot). That's gone after switching to these shoes dispite logging a lot of miles training for a marathon.

The heel is snug but not too tight or too high so foot feels locked in.

When I first ran in them they felt a little stiff but after about 20 miles they broke in, flexed great and are really wearing well. My typical mileage on a shoe is in the high 200's before I start to notice decreased cushioning. As I mentioned above, at close to 350 miles they're still doing great, don't show a lot of wear on the treads and still feel like they're doing a great job cushioning.

I've had problems with foot soreness since I weigh around 190 and have been running up to 40 miles per week training.

The shoe isn't among the lightest you could buy but doesn't feel any heavier than the Gel-Nimbus I was running in.

Not nearly as important but I'll throw it in, the shoe looks good too.

Look for this shoe to do well in other reviews.

My left foot pronates and my right foot is normal. I wore shoes for pronation and I think it caused serious problems with my normal (right) foot, plantar fasciitis. I stopped running and took two months for that to heal. I've been running in the glycerins for 50 miles with one 11 mile long run and so far my feet love them, even the screwed left one. They have lots of cushion and are very comfortable. I will probably buy a lighter weight shoe for racing but for my daily runs these are cadillac!

I purchased these at Roadrunner's Columbus store, where I had the opportunity to try on a wide variety of neutral/ neutral + shoe styles and compare them with my former shoe,the Asics Gel Nimbus 13.

I ran in them today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised that there was no break in period, which is unusual for me. I believe that the added flexibility contributes to this and noticed that the heel to toe transition was much improved over the Asics Nimbus 13.

Size wise,the length of the Glycerin 10 appears to be slightly shorter than other models which provided a better heel fit for me without feeling snug or constricting in the mid or toebox area. Very comfortable and secure feeling.

I found that the lacing design, combined with a full length tounge, allowed me to tie the shoe tight or loose without compromising comfort or stability. Nice feature that addresses issues I typically have with other styles.

As a full feature cushioned shoe, the Glycerin 10 provides gobs of cushioning without sacrificing feel and compromising flexibility. Certainly, one of the better executions of a neutral + shoe in my opinion. Would like to see the addition of another color combo in a more traditional scheme for us "old school" types.

I have trouble finding shoes that will fit. I have a wide foot and need an expanded toe box. The wide size on these is great. I also have a short leg and these shoes are deep enough to add a 3/4" lift under one heel and still not feel weird when lacing.

I've run in them twice and they are a huge improvement over my previous shoes.

They are like running in marshmallows- super soft, gooey. If you like to feel the road these are not for you. Great cushioning, good stability. They look good too, at least the black and red ones.

A former runner, I now walk. I preferred trail running shoes when I still ran and I still prefer them as a walker. I've used Asics, Nikes and Adidas. These new Brooks running shoes are the best fit and the best shoes I have owned in the past 40 years.

Buy half size up, same as the glycerin 9. New glove feel around mid foot is great, not too tight. Don't know if the 10's are lighter, but they feel lighter than the 9's. Great midfoot strike shoe. Great arch support. If you love the 9's, you'll fall in love with the 10's. I weigh 200lbs and run 15-20 miles a week and the cushioning is great.

The bottoms of my feet had been sore after 18 miles or of city running. I bought these for extra cushion. I covered over 20 miles recently and the feet were fine. I think they have changed my gait a bit, as I'm getting a "slapping" sound on occasion when I land. Roadrunner advised to order up a half size. That seemed to work, but I had to lace them very loosely, as the outsides of my feet hurt otherwise. Overall, I'm satisfied with the shoe. Maybe I just need a few more runs to get used to them.

I purchased a pair of these shoes after being fitted in-store and was recommended shoes in the "cushioning-support" category. My first choice would've been the Asics Nimbus 15s but my 14s are still in good shape and I was looking into a backup pair of shoes that might offer some complementary benefits to my Asics.

The biggest reason I selected these is because of how "fast" they felt. The cushioning is there, but they have a bit less cushion and a bit more pop than what I'm used to with the Asics. A good thing if you're looking for speed.

I've only had these for a few weeks and they're holding up nicely so far. They're not barebones light, but they're noticeably lighter than most quality running shoes out there.

In a nutshell: for my first ever pair of Brooks', I'm pleased with the speedy feel of these shoes and I like that they're breathable, nice looking and not wide or clunky. I will always be an Asics owner but I like mixing it up with other pairs of quality running shoes, and these are pulling their weight. (If you're looking for a main pair of shoes, I suggest taking these on a test drive along with a couple of other brands because you'll notice a nice difference in the overall feel and you may/may not fall for them like I did).

On a side note, I purchased some custom inserts along with the shoes, for added arch support. So the arch support factor is not too relevant, as far as my input here, since I haven't used them without inserts. But these shoes are rated for mid-to-high arch support.

I loved the Glycerin 9. If you did as well, the g-10 may not be for you. Very stiff midsole, too much support which is exactly what I was trying to avoid. Not as plush as previous version. Very disappointed.

Second pair of brooks running shoes. First pair that have been matched to me (thanx road runner) after being analyzed I was given several options of shoes. I decided to go with the saucony neutral + shoe, I loved the cushion on it but the containment of the upper was not amazing. I took them back after about 40 miles and swapped them for these brooks for $8 (LOVE MY VIP MEMBERSHIP!!!) the shoes are a perfect fit comfort is great fast shoe, they do however lack in the cushion compared to the saucony. But as a straight comparison I wouldn't give these for anything else.

Recently started training for a half marathon, so I needed a shoe that could take more miles than my Asics Neo 33's. Originally purchased the Asics Nimbus 14, but had to return them because they are too narrow on the laces and pinched the top of my feet on the longer runs. I was recommended these and they are great. Just ran 11 miles in them right out of the box. No breaking in with these, they are good to go!

I've been wearing the Brooks Glycerin line for years and this the best update that I can remember. Everything about the shoe seems to be just a little bit better. If you're looking for a Neutral shoe, this one needs to be on your list to try out.

Comfortable shoe, but I've never had a shoe fall apart so fast. My toes wore through the mesh so you can see my socks. I've had the shoes less than a year. I liked the comfort, but I don't think I'll buy another Brooks. I've had a lot of other shoes that last much longer. I typically wear out the sole of a shoe before the upper wears out.
