These shoes were terrible, my body was hurting not even a mile into my run. My first run I made it two miles. They felt heavy and not cushiony. I figured they needed to be broke in, but after two weeks, they had to go back.

They are less padded in feel than the glycerin 9, but they are comfortable and my orthotics fit in the shoe box without the glycerin's inserts so that is good. I'd love a more padded shoe but I don't think they exist.

Comments about Womens Brooks Glycerin 10 Running Shoe: Love the Glycerin; this is my fifth pair! (2nd pair of edition 10) I use these sneakers for distance running; I run between 5-15 miles a day, mainly on pavement. I generally put about 400 miles on them before I buy another pair and they hold out well. Normally, when I put my foot down my arch will basically collapse. The Glycerin has been the best sneaker to combat that. I also combine them with SuperFeet for extra support. Since switching to the Glycerin (and also adding superfeet) I've been able to avoid shin splints and arch pain. I have nothing negative to say; Brooks has done an excellent job engineering the Glycerin!

I am SO GLAD I went to the Road Runner and had the staff fit me with a pair of shoes which reduces leg, shin, knee and back pain, these work great! LOVE THEM!

The "10" pushes down on the base of my toes and I can not seem to adjust the laces to make the tongue of the shoe hit in the right place.

I have recently started going to the gym on a regular basis and my pain increased. Within a week after wearing my new shoes with the custom inserts my feet feel soooooo much better. They feel supported in the correct areas and has helped me to work out and walk longer withour pain.
