I bought these shoes and the next week ran a 1/2 marathon. These shoes were higher up on my feet and I tied my laces too tight and got a small bruise (my fault) other than that I laced them up differently and now they are great!

Very comfy but a bit bulky. When they're new they're awesome but they break down after a few hundred road miles.

I run about 25 miles per week & Ghost is my go-to shoe. This is my second pair of 5's. I love them! Mixed feelings about the 6 coming out in July!

I run 40 miles a week at 58 years old with back, hip and knee problems, I also pronate. I need really GOOD shoes. I knew after trying a pair of these on they might be good but until you start running in them you never know. Truly one of the best shoes I've ever worn, still new so hoping they wear well and keep the cushion. A super shoe, thinking about buying another pair and sitting them on the shelf for next time.

RRS is one of the most efficient, courteous and decent online sports companies I've dealt with through the years, as good as the shoes they sell.

About me: Run 20 miles per week. Had Plantar Fasciitis Release Surgery in 11/10. Wear custom orthotics to run in. Trained and ran a half in these shoes nailing a PR. Have about 225 miles on these shoes.

I had never tried Brooks before and was a Peagus Nike girl. Hubby had some Ghost 3 that I heard all the time how awesome they were. I needed a wide shoe which limits my options. Once I saw the Ghost had a wide I gave it a try.

The shoe is very comfortable and fits my custom orthotics very well. I feel they have more cushion than the Pegasus. I run on pavement and also on a dirt median and have had no trouble bringing these on this dirt surface.

The shoe hugs my orthotic keeping it where I need it for support. I have not had issues with Plantar Fasciitis with this shoe. It seems pretty light but with my orthotics they are more heavy but I still feel pretty light with them on.

Overall this is a good work horse type shoe. I did lots of long runs training for my half and wore them at my race. I also placed in my age group in a 5K recently with them so you can move in them.

I feel I got a lot for my money. They are not exciting or sexy, but they get me down the road and back with cushion and support.

I plan to get another pair soon since I am getting up in miles on them fast.

I run outside several times a week on rolling hills of pavement and have been struggling to pass the the three mile mark before tendinitis gets the better of me. Bye bye tendinitis and bye bye Saucony Hurricanes. Love my Ghosts

They are absolutely perfect!!! Amazing shoes!! Highly recommended! I had ankle pains, now I barley have an irritation with them and have ran 8 miles non stop feeling great!!!

I have only been running with them for three weeks, but so far they are working out great. I mainly run on pavement with them. The comfort and support is great. I haven't tried them on trails or gravel yet. My feet don't hurt when I'm done running. I don't get shin slints anymore. I knee hurts sometimes, but I think that is because I am just starting to run. So far I haven't had much to complain about for this shoe.

I've been a Brooks fan for some time since they seem to have attributes that I like - wide toe box and good arch support. The last Ghost I had was the 2, and these are similar to that version. I would recommend these for trainers up to marathon distance, however, I've recently developed Plantar Faciitis, and because of this I am switching to a shoe with a bit more cushioning.

This shoe has helped with my foot cramps and calf/Achilles problem with the first run. I would recommend them to anyone that needs a nuetral shoe. I run approx 20-25 miles a week.

I am usually a Nike geek only, however, I LOVE these. They way they look and feel is great and I never thought you would get me to convert to another shoe type! great so far for my runner chick training.

Very comfortable shoe, not much different from the Ghost 4. Good shoe to prevent suppination.

Suffered from pain in my arch that made running very uncomfortable for me. It was suggested that I try the Brooks Ghost, and I was finally able to run again without pain. I was very grateful to find a shoe that worked for me after suffering for over 3 years.

was training for my first half marathon...got my first pair to use during our training and got the same pair right before race day. has never given me a blister or any soreness. love them!
