      These shoes are so comfortable. I was running in the Brooks Ghost 4's and 5's prior to this shoe. The Defyance 6 shoe was more comfortable than both the Ghost 4 and Ghost 5. I agree with the other reviewers...........this shoe does not get enough airplay and I don't know why.

        Brooks Defyance 6 I have run in defyance for 5 years, over 40 pairs, Brooks has realy nice running shoes,but latley Brooks has been price fixing all there shoes at the same price at all web sites,thats not the free enrtprize,the country was build on. I still have a new defyance 6 now, but running in Mizuno wave rider 16 also

        This running shoe has everything the long distance runner needs. Proper cushioning, very good support, durable, and not too heavy.
        I do not understand why Brooks does not promoted this shoe more, roadrunnersport should too. This is the shoe the Ghost 5 should have been. If you want to log miles for any type of race (5k to marathon) this is the shoe to look for. Brooks please don't mess with this shoe. So far you have not. The difference between the Defyance 5 and 6 is nothing. Give this shoe it's due, and promote it.

          A great update to a fantastic shoe. I got my pair as soon as they came out and already have over 200 miles on them. The shoe's "memory" forms to your foot quickly and makes running a joy. A great shoe that allows you to focus on moving miles down the road.
