Comments about Womens Brooks PureDrift Running Shoe: Very comfortable and lightweight, easy to run in. Seem like they will be durable, but too soon to tell.

Comments about Womens Brooks PureDrift Running Shoe: I'm not an avid runner, but I try hard. I live in Vibram toe shoes for their comfort as I am really sensitive to pressure on the top of my feet. But they are not so hot with pavement running. I found these while shopping for spikes for my track daughter and decided to give them a try. I run on the Burke Gilman Trail and they were super bouncy. I like that they let my feet and toes spread out like my Vibrams, but give me more cushion to absorb the pavement hits. Have even worn them at work where I stand and walk all day on pavement and they were great. They really allow your feet to breathe. Only complaint is the top lace area, though super helpful being off-set, pinches sometimes. I'm sure I just need to find that sweet spot. I liked these so much, my husband decided to try the men's PUREDRIFT.

Comments about Womens Brooks PureDrift Running Shoe: The first time I put these on, I knew I'd found my next favorite running shoes. I prefer a neutral shoe with minimal support/cushion and plenty of room in the toe box, and these fit the bill perfectly. I've been running in PureGrit trail shoes for the last year and liked those very well (I've done 12 half marathons as well as two Ragnar relays in PureGrit). The PureDrift have more room in the toebox, yet wrap around my arch and heel perfectly. I took them out for an 8.5 mile run for my first real test of them. Once I made a slight adjustment to how I had them tied (a little too snug across the arch initially), I forgot I was wearing new shoes--no issues at all. Love them!

Comments about Womens Brooks PureDrift Running Shoe: The fit of this shoe is amazing. Felt great from the first run! Often get knee pain with running - not with this shoe. Highly recommended!!

Comments about Womens Brooks PureDrift Running Shoe: First, let me describe my feet. I would call them beefy, chunky, wide. In dress shoes I wear 7.5 EE or extra wide. I ordered an 8 in these shoes and they fit me like a glove, even when wearing what I consider a thick sock. These shoes have a wide, squared off toe box. I have tried the PureFlow and it was too narrow for me. The Drift toe box also allows the big toe to be aligned straight and not bent, which is perfect for my slight bunion on my left foot. The down side to these shoes is there is really very little between the bottom of your foot and the ground - virtually no cushion. Very much a minimal, zero drop shoe. I am cross training in the gym with them. I do not think I would run in them - I currently run in Newtons, also a zero drop shoe but with much more cushion / support on the bottom. I am giving 4 starts instead of 5 due to the lack of cushion. Overall a great shoe but note it runs wide (which is good for me, but may not be good for everyone).

Comments about Womens Brooks PureDrift Running Shoe: I have the pure cadence and love them. Did part of my Disney training and ran the race. These fit great but the toe box is wider so I went down a half size. These are fast and feel great on the feet. I am not sure about a marathon but definately a half! I wish they still had the original cadence in stock.. if not hope the cadence 2 is just as good.
Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Womens Brooks PureDrift Running Shoe: As I licensed Physical Therapist, I have a fair base of knowledge for proper foot support and posture. I have high arches, over supinate (under pronate), and my first toes that are dropped lower than the rest of my toes. I love brooks pure connect and ghost shoes. I absolutely hate these. First of all, when puting them on, the tongue is uncomfortable on the inside of the foot and the post to the outside arch is uncomfortable. The medial (inside) arch support is minimal to non-existent. Not at all like the comfortable band in the pure Connect shoes. When taking my first steps, the shoes actually threw me into so much toe in and over pronation that it caused immediate medial knee strain and discomfort. Maybe these are the shoe for you but in my personal and professional opinion, they should scrap these forever.
