Let RR salesperson talk me into purchase of C7 (not the 8 but look and feel very similar) which was easy as standing in the store these shoes were featherweight and comfy. Should have known better. Poor construction, poor durability and lack of stability were but a few of the issues. Heel cup actually fell apart. Going back to X Wings!

I use this strictly for walking whether it be on trails are just shopping. It looks and feels great would definitely buy this again.

Brooks Cascadia 8 was highly recommended but sole did not last on rocky trail; only lasted 2 months (130 miles). I got another pair just in case the first pair were a factory defect. Second pair is wearing just as fast. Not sure what shoes to try now???? Maybe Hoka or Salomon?

Regardless of what the person said below, I actually really enjoyed using these shoes. I have done two marathons in mine, and plenty of trail/road training on them, and they feel great! The bottom of the shoes have not worn out for me. I have been using my shoes consistently for about 5 months now and they are not showing any sign of wear on them. I average about 35 to 40 miles a week on these shoes. The traction on the shoe feels like it "sticks" to the rocks. I have done several mountain runs with these, and they are steady and can take on the jagged sharp rocks below. The shoe fits great on me as; I am a size 10 and am 155 lbs.

My only comment is that sometimes, I have had to put larger socks on due to the back of the shoe bothering my achilles tendon area. It sometimes rubs up against it. I used longer socks around my lower ankle, and the problem was solved.

I would recommend these shoes to someone who prefers running off road and running on rough ground. The cushioning is durable, and has not worn out yet for me.

Very poor thought process, there is way too much overlay with all of the web on the sides, you are setting your self up for hot spots. The collar is way too thick with a course material that will probably wear well, but not very comfortable.

Im 6'1 205 size 13 shoe with a average arch.I run between 35-45 mi week. This shoe has great traction for any surface. I run from logging roads to muddy trails to loose rock to slippery roots and this shoe performs great. Ive tried a lot of the top dog trail shoes over the last few years and I have finally rested with Cascadia. Just a solid all around good shoe.
