Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: I bought the Ghost 7 after years of running in Brooks Adrenaline. I was concerned about buying the Adrenaline after reading reviews about the changes they made to this year's model. I was looking for a neutral shoe, and the Ghosts have delivered. They provide great cushioning and are lightweight. I always order a full size up from my regular shoe size for my running shoes and these shoes fit great. My foot doesn't move and I have no heel slippage. I haven't logged too many miles in them yet and I may update my review in the future if things change, but for right now I would give them 5 stars. If your looking for a show to replace Brooks Adrenaline, I would highly recommend these.

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: Training for a marathon, these are my go to shoes on days when I am running less than 10 miles. They fit well and are comfortable and responsive. Long runs are just more comfortable in my Saucony Rides.

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: By far the most comfortable running shoe I ever owned! I would highly recommend this shoe to others.

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: The best shoe! Going on my 3rd pair now and I wish it was possible to stay in this shoe for a lifetime. I used to run in Saucony all the time, but my mom and sister swore by Brooks, now I don't think I could ever go back. It isn't the lightest shoe I have ever run in, but it the weight doesn't bother me at all and I am sensitive to the weight of shoes. Very durable shoe as well--extremely impressed. I run marathons and they are perfect for LD. Super comfortable, breathable, awesome and pretty! You can't beat a good looking, comfortable shoe. No pain ever! I was having problems with a previous brand, and switched into my Brooks full time and any pain I was feeling went away quickly. The best shoe ever!

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: In addition to the comfortable ride, this is the perfect neutral shoe for me, no constraints, hotspots, supports narrow ankle/foot/arch with nice wide toe box for spreading feet. I am so happy i found these shoes!

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: I run a few times a week--3 miles each time. These are the perfect running shoe. They're lighter than the Glycerin, but have enough support and cushion. There was no breaking in period, they were comfortable right from the first time. I wore the Ghost 6 until I wore it out. Now I'm loving the Ghost 7. (I wear the wide width).

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: These are so comfortable. So happy I got one of the last 3 pairs. I am a true Brooks fan but they have outdone themselves with Ghost7. I don't know how they will top themselves with Ghost8!!

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: It is my first time buying brooks and it won't be my last. This shoe has a lot of support. I thought it looked too bulky at first but it looks great on and feels even better. I use it for work as I do a lot of walking around in the hospital but I also use it for some of my fitness classes with lots of jumping and it is amazing. It is also considered to be light for the amount of support it offers.

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: Great shoe. I have pain from neromas and need a shoe with a slightly wider forefoot. These shoes are perfect.

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: I had never purchased shoes before, and these came recommended. I can't say enough about how comfortable and stable these shoes are! They keep me from rolling my ankles when changing surfaces and offer great stability throughout. Highly recommended for a beginner runner like me. My sister who is a seasoned runner had the same pair, so I know I made a good choice.

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: When I was coming back from an injury, my physical therapist recommended finding a shoe with more stability instead of my usual lightweight running shoes. The Ghost 7's have been perfect for me, providing stability as I increase my mileage for a marathon. They are heavier than shoes I've worn in the past, but that didn't stop me from buying a second pair! Highly recommend.

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: LEft shoe did not fit with my orthotic quite right, tried another pair same size and same problem in left shoe. My orthotic kept bubbling funny under the arch and squeaking. If it hadn't been for that would have loved the shoe as the right shoe fit perfectly. Ended up getting Brooks glycerin 12 which is a little more cushy and fits my orthotics great.

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: These are great running shoes for my routine (3-5 miles/d, 3-5 days/wk). Stable enough to protect and cushion my 40-something year old knees, but lighter weight than my previous trainers. Enjoying them very much!

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: I tried on a variety of different running shoes, and as usual, the Brooks was the perfect fit for me. I have bunions, and these shoes have a wide enough toe box for my picky feet. :) They are lightweight and comfortable, too!

Cons Best Uses Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: Since I began runnning, I have always worn stability shoes. The asics gt 2000s then the Kayanos. I was always told that i needed netural shoes but insisted on stabilty shoes. I tried the cumulus and had a bad expierence with them. So i was NOT about neutral shoes. Finally after seasons of it-band issues and noticing that my shoes were mostly worn on the outside heel, i decided to try neutral shoes. I was very hesitant to try a brand other than asics but i had heard a lot of good things about these shoes so I decided to give them a try. The first couple of days in them my shins hurt, but I think this was to be expected since I went from stability to neutral. Anyways since getting these shoes I have not had ANY it-band problems(knocks on wood) and love that these shoes are very light weight yet still comfotable and not as stiff as the cumulus. By far the best shoes I have ever owned, wished I would have tried them sooner. So if you ever go to a shoe place and they reccomend a certain type of shoe, TRUST them. Especially when you can return them after wearing them. Sometimes you have to give them some time. Def the case with these shoes!I run 50-60 miles a week and am on a college team.

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: As a gal who thought the Ghost 5 was hands down, the best running shoe ever, I was hoping for more of the same. But the Ghost 7 is considerably lower quality, and the changes they made created an inferior product rather than an improved one. The new shoes have a tightness in parts of the mid-foot and toe box and the new cushioning develops a sharpness at the edges that can start to rub the foot on long runs. The blisters start to get really painful at about mile 4. I was hoping they'd get better with time, but after a considerable break-in period, they are still terribly uncomfortable because of the fit. There is definitely more cushioning than the Ghost 5, which would be nice if it didn't have the added effect of creating a heaviness and less springy ride than the 5, increasing fatigue, and like I said earlier, rubbing in spots at the edges and creating blisters.

Best Uses Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: I had high hopes for this shoe after having returned the latest Wave Rider b/c that shoe was too narrow for my wide foot. I did purchase the wide version in the Ghost, and it certainly was wide enough in the toe box, which I loved. However, after 3 runs, my shins are acting up and my arches are killing me. I ran in them with inserts and without; same result with both. I think just the mid foot platform is too narrow, and therefore unstable for someone with a wide foot who is a mid foot striker. That and the arch seems to be too high for my relatively flat foot. I think this shoe would work great for a lot of runners. I just happen to be one of those weird runners with a wide foot, flat arch, who does not overpronate. Returning for Saucony IsoTriumph (which my arch seems to love).

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: Great fit and comfort. The best part was the shoe buying experience at Road Runner. Very helpful, knowledgeable staff helped me to pick out the perfect shoe for training to walk a 39.3 mile walk for breast cancer.

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: Since its cold outside I only use these sneakers in the gym. They really make a difference on the treadmill and throughout my workout. Grrrreat support. I am truly happy with my purchase. I tried on other sneakers, wasn't looking for a specific color, or look. The ghosts were the most comfortable for me. Highly recommend them!

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: this is my 4 pair of ghosts and every single one the material has come apart at the ankle...I do not understand this at all but this is also the first time i have written a review on it..probably should give brooks a shout out to see why this is happening???hmmmmm

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: This is my 6th pair of Ghosts. I have foot issues, almost 40 Yrs of pounding the pavement. These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I hope they never change.XO Brooks !!

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: I'm a slight pronator, but my stability shoes were causing ankle pain and my podiatrist suggested trying a neutral pair. I tried these and Asics Cumulus; went with the Ghosts because they felt much lighter and more flexible, and the forefoot cushioning felt right. So far, so good -- no ankle pain and plenty of cushion for running on pavement. Toe box is a little wide for me, but my foot is on the narrow side (the Asics were actually a better fit width-wise) so it's probably true to size or a tiny bit wider. I got them in hot pink to brighten up those grey winter runs and the color was as pictured. I really love being able to look forward to my runs again instead of being anxious about pain!

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: These are my favorite running shoes to date. I have a medium to low arch and like a wide toe box. These are lighter than many other neutral shoes that I have found, but have ample cushion. Love these shoes and will be incredibly sad if they ever stop making them.

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: I am really happy with my new Ghosts. I have worn Mizuno Wave Riders for the last 15 years and needed a change after feeling pretty lackluster about their latest model. The Ghosts feel amazing on my feet, they're lightweight and super cushion-y. I broke them in after the first run and am now a total Brooks convert. Really quality shoe, beautiful design, great performance. You won't regret trying them!

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: This is my main road running shoe, but I used it as a trail shoe for some time until I found a trail-specific shoe I liked. It stood up to the rigors of trail running all around so I was very pleased with the durability. It outlasted the normal miles/replacement age of the sole. I didn't have this shoe when I was training for my first ultramarathon, but my sense is it would have helped me more than the maximalist shoes I wore for training and for the 50-mile race. While initially a fan of maximalists, the design does not provide enough stability for my inherently-unstable body construction -- my physical therapist's words (stretchy tendons). I'm back to standard running shoes and it feels right.

Cons Best Uses
Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: I have suffered for over a year from Achilles issues in both ankles (possibly due to an increase in mileage during marathon-training season (150M x month) and/or lower heel-to-toe ratio in my running shoes). I wore NB1080 and loved their lightweight and responsiveness. Despite Sorbothane inserts + heel pads, my Achilles issues were getting worse.

Comments about Womens Brooks Ghost 7 Running Shoe: Always had trouble with other shoes fitting correctly through toes. These allow room to walk through my complete step without putting pressure on my toes.
