Comments about Mens Brooks PureFlow 4 Running Shoe: I had the pureflow 2 and pureflow 3 which were both much better shoes. What Brooks did the the p4 wasnt good. The front toe part of the shoe began to come apart very early. When walking in these shoes the front of them started to catch on the ground creating a skipping affect on my front step. Although, I didnt have that problem when running, I NEVER had that problem with any other running shoe Ive owned. I skipped getting the p5s and considered a different brand. I love my altecs for road and trail much more than these p4s. My p3s are still outperforming the p4s with a couple thousand more miles on them. Im going to give the P6s a shot, hopefully Brooks fixed their flub. Service and delivery comments: Item was delivered promplty.
Comments about Mens Brooks PureFlow 4 Running Shoe: These are the best running shoes I've come across and it was fantastic that Road Runner had them after all this time. I got 2 for a steal and am hitting the paths and treadmills without hesitation. I went with the PF4 since it seems the PF5 is garbage but then Brooks redeemed themselves with the PF6 (which I'll buy once I burn through the 4). Comments about Mens Brooks PureFlow 4 Running Shoe: Somewhat bulky and not particularly streamlined for running. Comments about Mens Brooks PureFlow 4 Running Shoe: My first brooks. Just the right amount of cushion. I like the tight fit Comments about Mens Brooks PureFlow 4 Running Shoe: This is my third pair of Pureflow 4's. Light and fit my foot better than other shoes I've tried. I'm not much of a runner, but I wear these for CrossFit four days a week. Comments about Mens Brooks PureFlow 4 Running Shoe: Great cushioning. And light weight Comments about Mens Brooks PureFlow 4 Running Shoe: Great track work and middle distance shoe for me. Fits like a glove so I have to wear thin socks to avoid them feeling too tight, but that's the only bad thing. Read reviews on the PF 5 and decided to skip that version and use the Mizuno Sayonara for my distance training and marathon. Nice to have the PF4 in my rotation though. I hope the PF 6 comes out soon with better results. Comments about Mens Brooks PureFlow 4 Running Shoe: My first run in this today and it felt great. Comments about Mens Brooks PureFlow 4 Running Shoe: So far, so good. Light and comfy. Pros

Comments about Mens Brooks PureFlow 4 Running Shoe: I switched to Brooks shoes from Asics a couple of years ago, with the Glycerin 11. I am a 50-year-old, 30-mile/week runner and weekend racer. I liked the fit of the Glycerin, and my joints appreciated the plush ride, but it felt like too much shoe. Besides, I had begun to feel that the relatively high heel was aggravating an old tendency to heel-strike contributing and contributing to injuries.

Comments about Mens Brooks PureFlow 4 Running Shoe: I tried pureconnect v1 and loved the fit, but they had a seam in the heal that caused me real problems so I couldn't wear them. I gave up on the line for a few years. Recently I wanted something new to help with a mild Achilles issue, and bought the pureflow and pureconnect.

Comments about Mens Brooks PureFlow 4 Running Shoe: I decided to move from the traditional trainer (Ghost) to a more "natural" shoe.(Flow)
Comments about Mens Brooks PureFlow 4 Running Shoe: I have run in Brooks Pureflow for three years, first in the 2 then 3 version. While there were differences there, the overall feel of the shoes were similar. The new V4 (bought here on RRS in Jan), feel very different, almost to the point of discomfort. Gone is the natural foot-shaped feel. Now the shoe fits more like a traditional (non-pure) shoe. The mid foot is tighter, due perhaps in part to the thickly padded tongue. The forefoot no longer has the almost wide, foot shaped feel. Now it's straight like any other shoe, even with the same sole (I did compare my v3 directly to the new v4). The lacing is old-school straight, with none of the old offset or curve. Bottom line: Pure is gone. This shoe update is one of the biggest muck-ups a company has done in a long time. It's no different than a low drop Nike or Adidas any more. If you liked v3, buy more before they're all gone. I know Pure. This is no Pure.
