This shoe does not pass the Physical Therapist's Taco Test which means the shoe bows out when folded like a taco -- leading to injuries such as plantar faciitis (very painful!).

I used to run in the original Radius Back in the day and mis it alot. When the Radius went away I ended up with the Mazuno Wave Riders whitch were decent but I'm glad the Radius is back. It's more shoe than it used to be and that's a why I'm going with 4 instead of 5 stars. Thanks for the wide to...

Ran on these Radius almost 3 months about 3 miles a day/20-25 miles a weeek. For my build 170 5'11 and neutral feet, these were great although these seemed to wear out and get a little loose after 10-12 weeks. Now use for bads weather and for walking around. Asics Landreth II now my favs but will...

Not a bad shoe. I like the feel of the Radius 04 better. If I would have known there was a change in the shoe I would have bought out the store of the 04's. The 05 lost some of its cush.

Good cushioning and flexibility for 6'3, 215 lbs with high arches. After a lengthy search, I now alternate these with Asics Landreth, Nike Pegasus and Saucony Jazz 3000. I prefer the Jazz 3000 though they don't make them anymore (I only have one pair left). Out of the other three I would say I li...

I am a clydesdale, 230lbs 6'2", and have a hard time finding a lighter weight cushioned shoe that also has some support. These were reccomended to me at Sound Sport in Seattle as I am training for Hood to Coast and Seattle 1/2 Marahton. So far they are outstanding. For the first time since my knee s...

This is the second pair of Brooks Radius I've worn. My wife sent the first pair to me while I was deployed to Iraq last year. I'm a large man (220lbs), and liked the cushioning. Since then I've tried New Balance 990's, but decided to go back to the Radius after I experienced some knee pain with the ...

I recently ran Boston. I needed a nice, soft pair of shoes to just get back into some miles. So far these shoes have been great. The toe box is awesome, and the cushioning is just as good. I have never ran in Brooks before, but my curiosity finally got the best of me. Like I said earlier, so fa...

After having run with Asics for a couple of years I took the advice of my running store "expert" and went with the Radius 05 for marathon training. What a mistake. It is like running in mud. There is so much to the mid-sole it feels as if you're striking flat-footed. On the plus side, there is plent...

So far so good with this shoe. I have run in Saucony's and I like a firmer ride. This shoe has good cushioning, yet not too soft. Overall, Brooks seems to put a lot into their running shoes at a fair price.
