I have been running marathons in the brooks beasts for the past 18 months. they are the only shoe that I can wear when I run. I am an over-pronater with flat feet so the extra control really helps. the only problem that I have with them is the back of the heel wears out on me after about 7 marathons

I am 5'10", 160 lb, sz 13, always runner, 15-20 mi./week now. Beast9 has good cush & MC, but may not cure my mild a.m. heel pain. It stopped getting worse, tho. Nike Air Max been my fav since intro, but today's thinner air bladders easily punctured by thorns. Tried many other shoes, wasted big $.
