Comments about Mens Brooks Adrenaline GTS 7 Running Shoe:

This shoe has changed my life - it might be worth a look for you too. I've (for reference - 5'10", 170lbs, low arch) been running in the Adidas SN Control for many years, including numerous marathons and ultras. After recently developing persistent calf pain in the SNC, I tried the Brooks GTS7 ('cause I liked the Cascade for going long on the trails). The pain subsided immediately and I'm running more, harder, and pain-free, like I did back in high school and college. I can't believe it took me so long to find these. Learn from my mistakes and give the Adrenaline GTS a try.

Wow. This is a great shoe. Currently on my 10th pair, with over 4000 miles logged in the Adrenalins. Shoe holds up well till around 500mi for each pair and gives me (5',10", 153) the support I need on the road and trails. Wish they were easier to find since I just love this shoe.

Comments about Mens Brooks Adrenaline GTS 7 Running Shoe:

For some reason, running in the 7's has resulted in my straining both calf muscles, on two separate occasions? Didn't have the problem with the GTS 6. I'm 6', 190, with medium arches. Have moved to a stability+/motion control shoe..no further problems.

Comments about Mens Brooks Adrenaline GTS 7 Running Shoe:

I have been a loyal Ascis Kayano user for over a decade. Once Asics went to more gel in the heel I started to get ankle problems. I tried the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 7 and amazed at the out of the box comfort. I thought that I would never run in anything but Ascis but not any more. I can not wait to get my GTS 8's. Way to go Brooks, this shoe is a winner.

Let me save you time and money. I started with the Adrenaline 6 and loved it, tried the Asics 2120 and went back to Adrenaline 7, tried Mizuno Inspire and went back to Adrenaline 7, tried the Brooks Trance 7 and am back with Adrenaline 7. Notice a familier pattern here? I am 6', 195lbs., normal arch, mild to mod overpronator and heavy heel striker. If this sounds like you this is your shoe. Buy it and never leave!!!!

Comments about Mens Brooks Adrenaline GTS 7 Running Shoe:

I bought the Adrenaline 7s about a month ago and run about 20 miles a week. The fit and cushioning of these shoes is amazing, much better than my last pair of Asics. The only complaint I have with these shoes is that the outer sole in the heels of these shoes wear out very quickly. This might just be because of my larger build (6'0", 190lbs). I highly recommend them.

I have worn Adrenalines for years after they saved me from several injuries. I have purchased other shoes, to include the Trance, but always seem to come back to the Adrenaline. They are firm, but not too firm, and last well into the 300 mile range and I am 220 lbs. I have learned my lesson and will continue to buy the Adrenaline. Great shoe!

Love these shoes. I've worn and run in the saucony hurricane 7, kayano 13, NB 1223 and 767, but this really beats them all. The shoe is well cushioned, but not so soft that you sink into it and have trouble taking the next step. They wore out a little earlier than expected from the forefoot, but I could care less. They were great while they lasted.

Sun, July 01,2007:
I have logged over 200 miles on this shoe and it is showing very little wear. I have been running in the Adrenaline for several years and they only get better. Maybe there was some wear problems in early production for the GTS 7. Many members of our running club also have had no problems with this shoe. I am sorry, but claiming a shoe was worn out after 35 miles seems a bit strange.

Very satisfied with this shoe. I had been running with asics until now and I'm not going back. These lasted me all track season (we averaged about 40 miles per week for 9 weeks). They are still in very good condition. They are very durable and even though I pronate a little worked well. Buy for sure.

Sun, May 27,2007:
I just hit the 100 mile mark in these shoes. They shoe fits well. It provides good support on short and long runs. The toe box is roomy enough so that on the really long runs my foot can swell and not be cramped. I personally have experienced no wear problems with this shoe. The soul is not showing any signs of excessive wear, nor is the cushioning degenerating. In fact, I feel that the shoe is finally breaking in nicely for me. All in all I think this is a good quality shoe - maybe not the "perfect" shoe, but pretty good for a shoe under $100. The best endorsement I can give it is that I am planning on buying a couple of additional pair to train for my marathon this fall.

I'm not sure if there were some early production problems or not - I've had these shoes for about 2 months and do about 30 miles per week (alternating with my Mizunos) and haven't had any problem at all with the wear. I do mostly hard packed trails with some asphalt and concrete.

I have been wearing Adrenalines since model 2's and each new model seemed to introduce only modest refinements. All of these shoes worked well for me. I have alternated between the Adrenalines and Asics 2110's for several years. The Asics are a bit more cushioned and the alternation worked well for me. When I ordered the Adrenaline 7's I expected the same basic feel as the 6's...wrong. The fit has changed and there is a seam that irritates the top of both of my feet. Looks like I'm through with these shoes; it was a good run though.

Sat, March 31,2007:
I rated this shoe in mid Jan and gave it a 5. Since this time I have read many reviews about the horrible wear on the outersole. I alternate b/t the 6 and 7 and have about 200+ on both. I checked the wear on both pair today and can not tell the difference. I had my wife, also a runner, give a non biased observation and she also could not tell the diffence in wear between the two. I do feel a little difference in them however, the 6 is a little more stable and snug, and the 7 has a little softer ride with a little more play similar to the 5 series. 5'10'' 165 and mild / mod overpronator, don't know if this helps but I still think this is a great running shoe. I didn't expect to get over 300 miles on this shoe or any other equivalent model/company. I do admit that I wear the Asics Nimbus as a casual shoe, as it is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, but is TOO SOFT to run in and does not have enough stability.

This is a great shoe. I have long, narrow, flat feet (12B) and the fit is snug, comfortable with great cushioning. Not so much that you lose the feel of the road. Long-time ASICS runner but was gun-shy of the GT-2110 that got so much bad press. The fitter at RoadRunner recommended the GTS-6 which was great, too. The main difference to me is that the 7 has a bit more cushioning. Also wearing the new ASICS GT-2120...not bad, but I like the Brooks better. Just ordered two more pair. :-) Highly recommended.

This shoe is so much better than the adrenaline 6's--which were like running on wood boards. The cushioning in these makes all the difference. They are firm and stable, and the fit is really good as well..I can't believe people actually like the 6's better than these....they can have them..

Wore 5's and 6's for a long time-very happy with those, tried to switch to 7's-kill my knees. I have custome orthodics in my others and they worked. Unfortunately, I didn't run in the shoes until my GTS-6's wore out, so it was after 30 days, so I am stuck with shoes I can not run in. Time for a change-thanks Brooks, I was happy for 5 years, no I have to find another shoe to run in.

This is my first pair of Brooks shoes. I am very pleased with the shoe. It has the right amount of stability for me and the transition through the gait cycle is excellent. I have ran in New Balance 76x and Saucony Omni 6. I am rotating the Adrenaline GTS 7 with a pair of Asics 2110 as I prepare for a marathon. I will wear the Brooks for the race.

I'm really surprised all these guys are saying that Mogo is no good--they must work for Asics or Nike. Anyway, I would check-out reviews on the Runner's World discussion forum for more accurate information. I actually run in Glycerin 5s and Trance 6s with Mogo and love the feel. Durability is great too.

I also was sucked in by the MOGO mystique, but when it was all said and done I found the shoe to be too mushy. Also have noticed significant wear after only 50 miles or so. Used to get 400 miles out of these shoes without fail. Ah well ...

I gave these try after I heard about the new mogo. I have to say I'm not sure what all the excitement is. It feels like normal sole to me. I didn't notice any added cush or bounce back. I did notice that the shoe is wearing out fast as I have noticed a lot more wear than normal after only 50 miles of running. I doubt they will last longer than 200 miles. I think they just made the sole softer so everyone would think it's so great. It's not great if it wont last.

As an injury prone highschool runner, I have been testing different shoes to figure out which ones would relieve my tendenitis the most. After trying literally every brand from Nike to Mizunos, I'm really glad I've found the GTS series. I've run in both the 6's and 7's and I loved both. I have to admit their mileages aren't quite up to par (around 200-250) but these shoes are great for that flat footed, injury prone person.

Just had the first run with the 7's. Great heel to toe transition, feel very light, and I noticed a springy feel which is great. I'm sure the get better as they break in.

Saw a post on sole wear. Usually, I don't write comments; but I need to get my 2 cents in. Brought the 7s. I run on asphalt, concrete and trails. After 2 runs, my soles wore through to the subsole(white material). Took my finger and started rubbing the blue outersole. Much to my surprise, this gentle friction started the blue outersole peeling off. If you can do this with your fingers, it's easy to figure why running in these shoes is causing sole wear. Bottom line, Mogo is no go.

What a disappointment! Been running in Adrenalines for awhile. The 7s showed very excessive sole wear after only 25 miles. I'm becoming very cynical about shoe "improvements". The Mogo didn't do diddly for the 7s. @0 years agoe when a shoe was "improved"; it usually was. Today, I think any "improvement" means less quality with an increased price. Time to stock up on the 6s while they're still available.

This is my first pair of Adrenalines so I can't compare to previous versions. So far they appear to be an extremely durable, versatile shoe for mild overpronators. I've tried a ton of shoes--stability and neutral--and these certainly compare with the best of them. Very satisfied so far.

I ran in Adrenaline 3, 4, and 5s which fit great. I couldn't wear the 6s because Brooks started to make the shoes too narrow even in the 2E. I tried the 7s but they are just as narrow as the 6s. However, the ride is great. I would have kept them if they fit.

I liked the 6 and 5 much better. The new mogo feels like all the other midsoles and I don't think it's anything special. I heard that this was something new but I'm guessing it's just EVA with a fancy name and lots of advertising behind it. I don't feel mogo is bad, but it isn't any huge new technology. The adrenalin 5 and 6 fit better and I feel like I have been buffaloed with this new midsole advertising and this is why I give the shoe 1 star

The 7's are a great upgrade from the GTS 6's. I made the switch and do not regret it at all. The forefoot cushioning on the 7's is much more built up and apparent and it gets rid of the stiff feel that the 6's had. The added MoGo is extremely comfortable and soft. It's not a lie - it's really there. The heel is built up and cushions very nicely. I've used Adrenalines for some time now and these are probably the best so far. Also, the sizing says to buy 1/2 size up, but I wear a 9 and the size 9's for these were perfect for me.

I received blisters on both little toes and the shoes caused my feet to burn even though I'm running in freezing temperatures. This is a bad design.

Shoe is just ok. I switched from asics and that was a bad idea. Brooks are really wide and sloppy in the forefoot plus this shoe felt clunkier than my asics.

Shoe went flat after 120 miles just like the Adrenaline 6 did. I thought this new midsole was going to better. Very unsatisfied.

I love the Brooks Adrenaline. The 7's are lighter than the 6's were. I've used Adrenaline for years and love them. I changed to Saucony once and decided I would never venture out again. If you've used Adrenaline before and like them you'll like these alot. I love mine.

I agree with Mike that the shoe is more like the 5 than the 6. I've run in the Adrenaline 5,6s and now 7s. So far I love it, but I've only got one run in it. I tried 3 other shoes, but I've settled back on Brooks. If it ain't broke... The only shoe I'd by instead of these is the Trance.

Used Adrenalines for many years. These are all right, but wouldn't give them a ringing endorsement.

If you liked the GTS5 better than the GTS6 you will love this update. They have the fit of the 6 but the cushioning and ride similar to the 5 series. They do not have the stiff feel and transition of the 6. Having run in the adrenaline for 3 years I have found this model (7) to be best of the series so far !
