my FAVORITE!! Asics should go back to this style if they make a new version. Nice and light and comfortable and I love them!! By the way, if you have worn Brooks before, I would recommend getting a half size smaller in the Asics.

I'm a loyal Adrenaline fan, but these shoes are horrible. I've worn them for about 150 miles and now I'm getting more knee and shin pain. Yes, MORE. I had slight pain from these right out of the box, but thought they would get better. I should have known better since my previous Ad. were perfect right out of the box. I hope the 8's are better or I'm switching brands.

I agree. These shoes are hooirble. I ran in the adrenalines for 5 years and this models stinks. I ran a marathon in them and then ended up needed surgery on my ankle. I am still looking for a replacement...

I love these shoes! I was having major knee pain and had been testing different shoes like Mizuno and New Balance 858. The Adrenaline was the third shoe in line and my knee pain has gotten better. I've had them less than a month and have already run a marathon in them. I didn't give my knee or my feet a second thought while I was running! First marathon that I don't get a blister....Love Love Love them.

I wish they would have left well enough alone. I have been wearing the adrenaline since I started running Oct 05, but the latest are awful. I have experience sore toes and now losing a toe nail due to them. Now I have been having a terrible time finding something that works.

add me to the list. I have worn adrenalines for years and the 7 is a huge disappointment. The shoe is so soft that it compresses after 100 miles and the result was a sore achilles and knee pain. I'm going to have to switch brands

I am a loyal Brooks wearer; but I've gone through 2 pairs of the 7's since May. Each pair "felt dead" after 90 miles.

I want to add my name to the list who found these shoes a big step down. I also ran in Adrenalines for about 5 years with no major problems, but less than one month in the 7s caused Achilles tendonitis. I rested for several weeks, but it persisted until I switched to the Asics 2120. Now I'm finally getting back to running.

First time I have tried Brooks. This shoe is just not for me. Felt fine during the run, but afterwards had knee pain. Gave it a few more chances, and the knee pain continued. Went back to Asics Gel Kayano XIII, and feeling fine again. Glad RRS has the 60 day guarantee! Guess you just need to find what works for you!

Horrible shoe! I wore the 6's for years but couldn't find them anymore so I tried the 7. Wore them on 3 runs...first run slight knee pain, second same, today - 5 miles - the knee pain is unbearable! What a shame - Brooks shouldn't have changed a good thing. I hear the next version is due out Jan 1st - hopefully they reverted back to the older styles.

I've been wearing Adrenaline's for over 5 years, and this shoe sorely disappoints! I went through three pairs in less than two months. The sole broke on two of the pairs and on all three, the structure was rigid and uncomfortable. No more Adrenaline's for me - any suggestions for a substitute?

What happened to the stability. I have used the 6 and the 5 with no problems. Then the 7 is a disaster. I have knee pain and shin splints. My running shoe salesman said it was because the shoe had become too soft. I now have another brand it is so much better.

Some of the reviews I've read here are interesting. Folks who complain of pain that rotate with neutral, flexible shoes like the nimbus, the large gray piece on the medial side of this shoes is throwing your gait off. A shoe like the nimbus and the adrenaline are not meant to be rotated with each other. If the nimbus or a neutral shoe works for you then try something like the glycerin by brooks, and you won't be disappointed.
I was fan of the adrenaline 5 and the 6, but I have to agree with the other reviewers who complained that the midsole is firmer. It is. The mogo when used in thick slabs, like with the trance, seems to feel softer, but brooks left a hard slip last, a cardboard piece that extend to the ball of the foot in this particular model shoe. This combined with the new mogo midsole material just makes this ride waaaay too firm for my tastes. The toebox seems only mildly wider than previous versions, with a nice snug fitting heel. Its a shame the ride is so stiff

I agree with the other reviewers that this shoe is just not what it used to be! I have been wearing Brooks Adrenaline for years and this version is making me ready for a new brand. They make my legs ache and my foot is all over the place inside the toe box. Where is the arch???? The sole is so much harder than previous models. Disappointing.

I just ran my first half marathon in these shoes and I think they are great. I have never tried brooks until now and I'm definitely staying with this style. Great for narrow heels.. Only wish they would hold up more than around 100 miles.

What happened to the Adrenaline line? The 5's were amazing then got significantly worse each year with the 6's and 7's. The 7 is a complete disaster. I do not understand why they needed to go and ruin a good thing.
I get alot of pain in my shins and in my arch. I think its because the shoe is way too flimsy.

I bought the 7s one week before the Rome Marathon, which was my first Marathon, I love them, I have a high arch and need the sturdy/firm support. This is my first pair of Brooks, I will definitely buy them again.

Love these shoes! I have a narrow foot and high arch and with my Superfeet Insole they provide the perfect amount of cushion, and stability. Tha narrow width fits my foot like a glove.
