6' 183 pounds. Ran one 15 mile run with these during marathon training to break in, then set a PR and qualified for Boston with these at Hamburg, Germany. I have the green and yellow pair, much nicer looking. Excellent speedwork and racing shoes.

I'm a light sub-elite runner who bought these to train in. I would not race in these; they are too bulky for me. These shoes are good when my legs are banged up and I need something more responsive than lighter flats.
My complaint is that the post goes back too far towards the heel. The discrepancy between the posted side of the heel (left) and unposted side is noticeable.
Note to Brooks: Move post another inch or more away from the heel.

Iloved the shoes! The looks, the weight, the support, and on top of all of that, the first race I used them, I set a PR by 12 seconds!

These shoes fit me like a glove. They're perfect for my running stride as they have enough cushion and support without the big marshmellow heal. The only reason I'm rating these a 5-star, is that the hard rubber on the heal on both shoes came unattached after the 2nd run.

An excellent racing shoe for runners that need some support. It is light enough so it does not weigh you down but it has enough cushioning so you do not feel the road. I have used it on a 5K and 1/2 marathon races and felt great. The only drawback is the design (which I do not like) but that is a matter of taste and quite subjective

I like the light weight and transition of this shoe. However, herein lies the problem; within ten miles of use the hard rubber on the heel separated from the outsole. This occurred on both shoes. This is the second pair of ST 3's on which this has happened. I have never encountered this with any other running shoes in the past.

Currently using the Brooks Racer ST 3 as a performance trainer. For me, it's just enough shoe. Really smooth transition (relatively flat outsole) and excellent support as I tire on longer runs. Intend to marathon in them this year twice and have been doing the majority of my training in these. Performed great at Ironman Louisville in August.

An amazing shoe for its category and weight. It rivals the DS Racer every bit and is more cushioned. I would wear this shoe for a marathon without hesitation.

Best shoe I ever run. And best thing is that Brooks doesn't use to change the products every year. I run the Racer ST since its first version as the color was red. Then I bought the limited version in green, then the orange one and the new red one, then the yellow model. And the feeling is always the same: excellent!
The cushioning is exactly what I expect: not to much and not to less.
But unfortunately the shoe is not so durable as other shoes are. After 6 month I must change it. But the price is ok if you compare it with other shoes in this category.
And....the Racer ST ist very very light but gives also support.
The ony Racing shoe that is made for wider feet.

Great shoe! Extremely light with a surprising amount of cushion and support. On really rough surfaces with loose rocks I would stick with the Brooks BURN or Adrenaline but for smoother surfaces and races these are simply amazing!! Did 10k right out of the box with zero complaints.
