I recently bought my 3rd pair of these fantastic trail running shoes...I mostly run in the canyons of Clairemont, these wick well, have great cushioning and support through the rock and gravel of the riparian environs of the canyons, and I found the support on the road to be equally good...if you ne...

Switched from New Balance road (2042) and trail shoes (957), also 1/2 size up, and regret it because my heal slips. Can feel the shoe slide on pivots. If a shoe (brand) fits, wear it, as they say.

Tue, March 04,2008:
Overall great shoe with great comfort and cushion. I used Asics Trabuco prior to this and it lacks the ankle support and stability of the Asics trail shoes. Does need more tongue padding as the laces can dig into you on steep downhills. Recommend for mild to moderately technical trails.

The perfect shoe on the road with 2 or three inchers of fresh snow. Warm when bicycling and running in the winter. If the Adreneline 6 or 7 fits you, then the ASR will fit you fine. Love the show.

Sun, December 30,2007:
I'm very pleased with this shoe. The upper is breathable and will let water in if soaked, but otherwise keeps my feet dry in sloppy weather, sleet, slush, etc. and is warmer than mesh. They feel cushiony but stable with a roomy toe, which I like. I would like a little more padding on the tongue, ...

An excellent shoe.
I haven't run in a Brooks shoe for a long time and bought this one mainly for fall and winter running because I wanted a road shoe that would provide some protection from the weather and not fill up with water when I have to go through puddles. I have been quite pleased with i...

I was told that the change from the ASR 3 was simply cosmetic. I find that hard to believe after wearing these. I've worn Brooks for 14 years. I went from using Adrenaline GTS road shoes on the trail to the Adrenaline ASR 3. The ASR 3 was an amazing shoe. I've worn the ASR 4 on 3 runs, a 16 mile and...

Great support - wore these out of the box on a 10 mile race with no problems and great performance on rocks and in mud. The cushioned feel with traction and traditional Adrenaline support is awesome.
