I run in adrenaline but I need a pair of regular tennis shoes. Bought shoes to walk around at school. I'm always on my feet and need a shoes that can last. Bought the Glycerin 4 for $30.00 I thought they only last 3 months like my addidas, or nike. it's been a year and I'm amazed my feet, legs or hip don't hurt a bit. Now if I can only find a great sale.

I used to run in Nike and they wore down quickly plus they didn't fit my orthodics well.
I bought Glycerin 5 and I love the color purple. I run with the Leukemia Lymphoma society which is purple so the shoes compliment the team!!
They are comfy and my orthodics fit well. I have put in several long runs of 12+ and haven't had any issues;0)

I saw that these shoes are endangered and bought several pairs because I like the fit. Too bad they changed the color scheme from red to purple! I feel a bit conspicuous running in shiny purple shoes, and people have commented on how "purple" they are; however, it's the fit that matters!

These shoes are not anywhere close to what the Glycerin 5 were. I went through 5 pair of Glycerin 5 loving them to the end but I can't wait to find another shoe from the 6 after I get more miles out of it. It was murder to break in - my legs hurt and doesn't fit orthotics as well as the 5. I hope Brooks can get their act together. They are the only mfg that has a shoe that fits custom orthotics.

The cushioning is great; not too firm or too soft. however, they were a bit too wide for me (narrow, medium arch, neutral pronation) and my feet slid from side to side. Other than the width, I feel they run true to size and are perfect for speed workouts to longer runs. They've also held up quite well for the amount of trail running I do in them. Overall, a good, cushioned, neutral shoe.

I was advised to purchase one size up; this caused my feet to slip around inside the shoes until I obtained some very thick running socks. Since I've never worn this brand before, they took a little getting used to, but now I really appreciate the cushioning and fit.

I really liked the Glycerin 5, but I was definitely disappointed with these shoes; my feet make a "clap clap clap" sound when I run in these shoes and I have no pushoff. I usually run about 45 miles per week and these shoes make each run very laborious. These will be replaced and I will wait for the Glycerin 7, I am hopeful they will fix the clapping.

For my foot type (med arch, under-pronator) these shoes are wonderful, I tried 3 other shoes before these and kept exchanging them. These are perfect and I can run for miles. Very cushioney and very comfortable. I ordered them 1/2 size bigger than my regular shoe size and they are perfect. I love these shoes!

Overall, I have found these to be great shoes. They offer a little more cushion then I would like (I prefer a firmer feel), yet they don't have that complete "marshmallow" feel. They could fit better for me; i have very narrow feet, but other than that, no complaints. They are a great shoe for anything from roads to trails to track!

I have wore the Glycerin 4s, 5s, and now 6s. If you need a neutral, low profile shoe with lots of cushion, this is it. The technology of these shoes keeps getting better!

These basically fixed my shin splints. I have very high arches and don't pronate, and this shoe doesn't get in my way at all. Just provides good cushioning. Only complaint is that I seem to be more prone to ball-of-foot blisters in these, but a little tape fixes that if it gets uncomfortable.
