Ran for a year in the Adrenaline GTS 6. Loved them. Trained for and completed an Ironman in the Adrenaline GTS 7. Great shoe. Have done two 10 mile runs in the GTS 8 this week. Awful shoe. Legs hurt during the run and now I have bad joint pain since those runs. I'm returning them for a refund and fo...

Excellent Shoe. Ran 1/2 Marathon in them w/out any problems. I'm not a big Brooks fan but this shoe is great for Big runners who are not overpronators. I will use no other shoe to train in , so I hope they keep this shoe around for a long while.

I have run in Brooks for 10 years-mostly Glycerin and the Dyad. Tried these based upon my Podiatrist's recommendation. I use custom orthotics and these shoes are just not for me at all. My legs actually hurt at the thighs, knees and ankles after long runs. I'll go back to the Infiniti or the Glyceri...

Not thrilled at all with this edition of the Adrenalines. Been using them for several years with good results. This version really disappointed me as far as overall ride and comfort.

First time wearing Brooks and am very satisfied. I feel the cushion and support are work well together. Shoes are comfortable and are true to size. I have only about 50 miles in them so far, but am pleased with them.

Sat, April 05,2008:
This is the latest in the Adrenaline series and is generally a good, lightweight, stable shoe. Like the earlier versions of Adrenalines, you likely won't get a large number of miles in this shoe before the midsole breaks down. For some reason, the GTS 8 does not have the same fit as earlier versi...

I was totally unimpressed with this version. I have about 100 miles on them. I don't see a lot of cushioning left, just inserted sorbathene inserts for additional cushion. They're not as good as prior versions.

I think I have had every version of the Trance since it came out. But with all of the years of pounding I am now into a 2E width, so the Trance is out. In with the Adrenaline. Serious lack of cushioning for me compared to the Trance, so out with the Adrenaline.

Great Shoe. I am 5'9" and 180 lbs. These shoes are light with just the right cushion and stability. I have had nothing but good luck with the GTS 8.

I agree with Matt and others. The GTS 8 is an excellent combination of cushioning and stability (not too much) and works very well as an every day trainer. I've got 100 miles on mine with very little wear.

Not sure about all of the complaints about cushioning and sole wear. Mine have 200 miles in six weeks and are still great. Probably have another 100 before I switch for my marathon pair.
They are light, with good cushioning switched from Saucony's. Stop complaining and run!

I have worn these shoes for several years. I usually rotate between these, Glycerin, and Pegasus. I also wear custom orthotics. The newest Anderalines plus my orthotics overcorrected my stride causing medial knee pain. I'm sending mine back. There's a shoe for everyone out there but these didn't do ...

I have had these shoes since they were introduced. There is ample firm cushioning (i.e., not mushy) and a good amount of stability. These are a great alternative to the Asics 21-- series, although the Adrenalines are not quite as narrow and have less arch support than the 2100 series.

Agree with other posts on lack of cushioning and quick sole wearout. I paid $85 for these shoes and can't fathom why the rubber in the soles wore out at 68 miles. Are the soles made of tissue paper?

Nice fit and comfort. But, cushioning is not there. In comparing these to the first Adrenaline followed by the Talons in the mid to late 90s just prior to the original GTS, those shoes had great cushioning. They were built on a slip last. I just don't see how you can get the full benefit of the ...

Mon, March 10,2008:
The shoes are great, no problems so far (6'3"/225). They provide the right balance of support and cushioning for me. They are in a 4 shoe rotation (Trance, Wave Nirvana, and Grid Hurricane) so the miles won't rack up for a while. But this is more of a customer service review than anything. All ...

I am a big guy, 215 lbs. and I have been having a heck of a time trying to find a replacement for my Nike Equalon I that carried me through my first marathon. Preliminarily, and true to Adrenaline tradition, seems like a solid shoe. BUT an issue on sizing...I was an Adrenaline 6 devotee (skipped over the 7) and had to go from an 8 1/2 in the Adrenaline 6, to an 8 wide in the Adrenaline 8 (it's a significantly longer shoe). So echoing another reviewer's c...
